Not good for older XP computer

I bought this wireless adapter so I could move my old Windows XP computer to a different room when I got a new computer. It was easy to install, butit keeps dropping the connection about oncea day. The Netgear tech took over my computer and found that the XP computer requres a "MEP security" connection, wheras my router is set for "Mixed Security" connection which is required for my Windows 7 and Windows 8 computers. I guess I have to live with dropped connections
What's great about it: Easy to install. Great when it works
What's not so great: Keeps losing wireless connection on my old XP computer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
