Ever since my parents took me to see this film in 1970 (I was 8 years old then), I have loved it. That this Blu Ray includes the Japanese release of the movie (with additional material) makes it even better!
Without question, "Tora, Tora, Tora" is so much better than the 2001 "Pearl Harbor" with Ben Affleck and Kate Beckinsdale.
This release from the sitcom Big Bang Theory includes every episode of the show's eighth season, following the daily misadventures of a group of socially awkward and terminally endearing scientists.
Really happy with this one. No, the band doesn't have as polished a sound as it did on its "Bleach" and "Nevermind," but "Incesticide" includes demos after all. Totally worth it!
You know, I don't care that of the two Genesis lead vocalists that Phil Collins gets panned a lot by music critics. His work with the band and as a solo artist holds up well.
For a band that didn't release very many LPs, an impressive amount of material is currently available, including this gem from their live show in Reading, UK.
This release collects every episode from the debut season of Star Wars Rebels, a series that continues the saga of a ragtag Starship crew who confronts the evil Empire and attempts to thwart their plans to kill-off the last of the Jedi Knights.
I love, love, love Star Wars Rebels Season One. Can't wait to get the second season on Blu-Ray. Along with the Clone Wars TV Series, the new Disney series fills in a lot of blanks between the original trilogy movies and the prequels. Yeah, the TV series are just animated and not live-action, but if your a fan of the franchise, they're definitely worth watching.
Ever since I first heard them way back in 1982, I thought their music was pretty good. In the years since, I've moved on from Night Ranger and other Hair Metal bands, but their old stuff still holds up pretty well. Call it a guilty pleasure.
Follow the nerve-racking race against the clock to construct the bomb that would change the course of World War II, told from the point of view of the scientists whose shadowy world of secrets forever tainted the lives of their families. Season One includes the special features "Ground Zero: Bringing the Bomb to Screen," "P.O. Box 1663: Creating a City that Didn't Exist", commentaries with cast and crew and other bonuses.
Yeah, it's a fictional account of a very important historic event and as film and TV so often does, a bit over-dramatized. But still a good show to watch. Looking forward to future seasons.
