As usual, BestBuy delivers merch promptly and for free (Elite Plus Account holders). The free APP has to be downloaded from Google Play and installed on Android 4.0 or later. There are also some handy features that come with the APP that establishes a very good price to benefits ratio for this product. I cannot reason why anyone would purchase a single use drive when this device has so much more utility.

Does the micro usb connector work on a Windows 8.1 tablet?
I have a Dell Venue Pro 8 tablet that only has a micro usb port. Will this flash drive work right out of the box on it. Or will I have to install software for it to work with the micro usb connector on the flash drive?
It should work with the micro usb port (my Samsung S4 phone and Lenovo A2107 tablet have a single micro port (both are Android, not Windows) and the device works fine. Access the SanDisk Memory Zone web site and check out their list of compatible products.

would this fit my verizon cosmo touch(not a smart phone)
You have to download the Android APP from Google Play. Or, access ScanDisk Memory Zone and look for your device on their compatibility list.
