Replaced a failed Magellan (about five years old) with this unit. I find it is a little better at routing and the search feature is a lot better. There are some features on the Magellan that I was used to that this Garmin doesn't have:
1) No easy way to navigate to an intersection. I usually know cross streets more than I know addresses.
2) Not really intuitive in forcing it to pick different waypoints on a trip.
3) It doesn't power off after so long with no motion. Have to manually power it off, which I don't always remember.
Overall I like the unit. It just has different features than the Magellan.

I don't think audiophiles will like this little speaker (a little tinny), but it has great volume, which was of utmost importance to me. My biggest complaint is that there is no way to start/stop play or control the volume on the speaker itself. You have to use your device. You can skip back and forward, for what that is worth.

For a Dell machine, it seemed like a price that was too good to pass up. Just doing basic email, web surfing, word processing, but graphics seem to get scrambled at times.
