It does not look like the added few inches of landing gear would actually help in stabilizing the Phantom drone on uneven terrain but it does exactly that, and it does it well.

Great for Night Flights with a drawback

The unit comes with instructions on how to turn on the lights, and change the modes, but it lacks instruction on how to attache the light modules to the legs of the landing gear. And it is not intuitive by looking at them. I have used the lights on 3 different occasions and each time one of the light modules detached from the leg and flopped around.

A Hard to find an Enterprise compatible CAC Reader

This CAC reader is awesome. No muss, no fuss. All windows versions, and OS X had the drivers installed. While the USB port used seems to make a difference on the newer Enterprise laptops this Reader is truly play and use. Another great positive is that the Reader provides tactile feedback when inserting the CAC Card which a lot of readers do not. The CAC card will "click" when fully inserted, preventing improper insertion.

All iPad owners know that they take longer to charge than the phones they companion, and I just don't like to wait. So when my iPad needs a boost, out to the car I go because this charger is a work horse, and make no bones about it, given the chance it will get the job done in a hurry. This HDMI cable just get the job done. Now before you go slapping me with science, and the electro-chromeograph results of Ultra High Def 4k+ fidelity let me say this - when did you use all that equipment and measuring devices to just watch Netflix in 4k? You didn't. Ever. So if you want an HDMI cable that is decently priced as far cables go this is it.

Yes it will. I have not had one working on Win 8.0 though it works on newer versions.

will this work to accept a chip credit card at a restarunt using pixelpoint software?
Your question is a highly customized question that requires knowledge of the software you mention, your current set up and then banking requirements.
The NFC chips are located in the same position on the card as the chips on CAC cards so reading the card should not be the issue. The issue will most likely reside in the configuration of the software, and the bank.

Where can I buy cards for this?
I'm trying to use this device to make my home computer more secure with it's access. I was wondering where you buy smart cards to use on this machine as well as if you can program it to use only that specific card.
You can. However, there will be additional expense.
A quick Google search for CAC cards for sale will find you the cards. But you will most likely notice that you have to buy them in bulk.
Next you will have to have a CAC Reader / Writer. While a lot of CAC Readers do not even advertise that they can write to the card as well these are not always readily available.
You will need a working knowledge of certificate management in the OS that you use. The certificate will remain on your computer or Authentication Server, and the Private Certificate will remain on the chip on the card. This will require validated certificates and can be a hassle when expiration dates are reached.
Lastly, I believe CAC authentication for the home is cost and time prohibitive, unless using an existing Enterprise Architecture.

Is the reader compatible with a Mac?
Yes. I have two different routes that I use a CAC reader on my Macbook.
1. The Reader manufacturer provides drivers for OS X on their website.
2. Usually, using an alternative to Safari like Chrome or FireFox and getting a plug in to enable the CAC reader on certain websites.
I have used these methods for both personal and DoD Enterprise computers using Windows XP thru Windows 10.

Will this slow down my computer?
The quick answer is no.
It is hard to tell in an Enterprise environment whether or not this reader is actually causing any delays in your CPU. So the quick answer is no, it will not slow the computer down at all (noticeably). Now if you notice a delay in booting the CPU, that is more likely because the USB bus is causing the delay. Most times the delay is only on the first reboot after installing the reader (again if at all).
It is hard to tell in an Enterprise environment whether or not this reader is actually causing any delays in your CPU. So the quick answer is no, it will not slow the computer down at all (noticeably). Now if you notice a delay in booting the CPU, that is more likely because the USB bus is causing the delay.
