Two movies for the price of one!

I've only had a chance to watch the Batman movie. Good movie, but I noticed this release is cut different/censored. My digital download from Amazon is slightly longer with more scene's of violence, nothing monumental, just a few seconds here and there. Each movie comes with its own DVD disc.

My second one

Solid TV for only $160 before taxes. My sister liked it so much, I decided to get another one for a friends Birthday present. It's hard to complain for such a low priced HDTV, the only real negative I would give it, is the slow transition between inputs.

Got it on sale!

I lucked out and found it on sale for $40.50, not a bad deal for $50 worth of gift cards. I recommend buying this for as long as it's available. The bonus $5 is considered a "gift" and not a purchase, so it will expire in a year after adding it to your XBL account.

I brought the insignia 40 led tv 1080p/60Hz

When I hook it up it reads 720 in the upper right hand corner where is the 1080 I supposed to have brought
It depends on the source, if your cable box, bluray player, etc, is set to output 720p, then that is what your TV will display. You'll have to go inside their setting menu and adjust the output to 1080p.

no audio out RCA jacks, only 3.5mm headphone. how to connect soundbar?

since the only audio output is a 3.5mm headphone jack, is it possible to connect a soundbar? don't most soundbars have RCA inputs? if so I would just need to get a 3.5mm to RCA adapter, correct?
It also has optical out, and a option if you want to feed your sound bar 5.1 sound, instead of only stereo with the RCA adapter.

Is this compatible with a Macbook pro?

Looking to get an increased image size for DVD and drafting with a Macbook.
Sure, a mini displayport to hdmi cable should do it.

How do you change the setting on your cable box to an 1080......my tv is showing a 720p in the right hand corner and it is suppose to be a 1080p?

What model cable box do you own? If it's from your ISP, I'll likely support only 1080i. Your ISP will likely have an online PDF manual showing you how to change the resolution of the box.
