I purchased this to augment an existing TV that just wasn't cutting it in the sound department. I bought a digital optical cable to connect from the TV to the sound bar, so I have not tried it with BT or with plugging in directly, so my review is using the digital optical input. The remote has selections for the 3 different types of 'inputs'. It also has 3 different soundstage settings, but I just use the 'news' setting as I'm trying to 'punch-up' the dialogue in TV shows. Cinema is good only for movies that you don't mind be really loud. My only complaint is that there is no CENTER speaker in the bar, as dialogue is what's missing. The wireless subwoofer works fine in the same room, and no problem connecting- only complaint is that there is a piercing blue LED that flashes when the soundbar is off on the subwoofer. Also confusing if that the red LED on the soundbar is lit when the unit is off, but no indication when it is on. Sound quality: much better than a plastic TV set, but not a BOSE either- but, you're not paying for a Bose. You do get what you pay for, and it does amplify the TV sound well. It also appears to be "in sync" where some soundbars the audio is out of timing with the video - don't have that problem here. So, if you're going to spend under $250, this is a good deal. If you want to spend over $300, then maybe a Sony would be better, but this works for me. PS: Make sure that your TV set stand is tall enough to go over the top of the sound bar, or it will block your remote from working on the TV. Only other complaint is that there isn't more 'fine tuning' of the volume- one notch up is too loud, and one notch down is too low- needs more increments. Also, the volume up button is huge- so you think that you'd push the bottom part of the button to lower it, but it just raises it- there is a separate volume down button on the remote- takes some getting used to.

Yep, I bought this CD for just one song: "Turn Turn Turn" in genuine stereo, as it was available in mono for the longest time (I think even the Forrest Gump soundtrack had it in mono). Anyhow, that was enough for me, but there are a lot of other gems packed into the one CD that others would have made into a two CD set. Very good sound remastering. A good buy at Best Buy.

I'm glad that Best Buy carries each individual color for the Brother printers, as you'll invariably use more yellow than cyan, and you can buy each of the 3 individual colors instead of a whole box of colors and black ink.
Also, box gives you an idea of how many pages it will print so you can compare this usual size to the XL size.

Great Album- BUT - I was missing something

Before of opened-packages at Best Buy- I didn't realize that this album came with TWO covers - mine had only the 'butcher cover' - it was the last one at Best Buy, and it wasn't until I got home and read about it that it should have ALSO came with the 'trunk' album cover like the paste-over version came with. So, I'm missing the US cover, but have the rare cover instead. Anyhow, how can you lose with the song selection when one of the top 4 Beatles songs "Yesterday" is included. This song was, in the early 70's, the most-copied song ever with untold versions by everyone under the sun. Audio quality is decent- almost too pristine and not very analog-sounding, so I'll give it 4 stars for the stark digital quality instead of 5-star analog quality. A can't lose Beatles collection, and one you need to add.

Nope, just the hardware to mount your new radio using the odd shaped dash opening. Cables are separate.

How good is the input lag on this TV? I had a Samsung with poor lag.
The Samsung had such poor lag that the audio and video were not in sync while watching a program.
When you push a button on the remote, there is sometimes a 'lag' - BUT, the sound and video are in sync- plus I believe each input has the ability to tweak it a bit too!

Connections to Sony HTCT380 soundbar?
I also got the Sony HTCT380 soundbar & it came with an optical cable. Do I attach the optical cable &/or HDMI? Which is better, or use both? It's working with both but don't know if it's redundant or which one its using. I'm not using the hdmi outputs on the soundbar.
I use a Sony MiniDisc digital TOSLINK optical cable from the TV to the Soundbar and it is in sync and works well, Any other connection would be redundant.

hearing impaired and tv
Husband uses headphones connected to the audio out on tv but sound is then cutoff to me who is not hearing impaired. Is there a way to connect his headphones and allow me to hear tv at a normal volumn?
Yes, in the settings you can tell the headphone jack to stay at a constant volume, or go up and down with the TV sound and for it NOT to cut-out the speakers when plugged in or to shut them off- it is an option.

Can I fix the lines that are going up and down my tv for about 4-5 inches on one side?
The right side of my TV has multicolored lines that cover the right 4-5 inches of my screen top to bottom. Occasionally this area goes solid black but the pictures never shows.
Call the Geek Squad, that is not normal.

Is there a setting so one can use the headphone jack and the internal speakers at the same time? My wife is hearing impaired and requires headphones.
Yes, this is one reason I bought this Tv, besides the great picture, you can set the headphone jack up so that it doesn't cut-out the main speakers either, so you could add a Bluetooth transmitter to go to receivers to listen (in addition to pretty decent Closed Captioning. You can get both speakers, and I think you can leave the headphone jack at a constant volume, OR select for it to go up and down with the TV remote.

On the Sony Bravia 48 class, can I load pictures onto a thumb drive, insert it into usb port, and get a slide show of the pictures?
I would say 'yes' only because that's why Best Buy was going- they have an 8GB flash drive plugged in showing video on the TV, so that must work.
