Big disappointment thus far. Alexa, weather - no problem. Alexa, local business in zip code - say what? It is of no use to me to get answers to simple questions like the phone number or address of a local business. It can't answer most simple questions. It will play your music okay, and use Tune-In quite well, but that's the only value I've found in it so far.

Just a plain good movie to enjoy with the family

No better way to describe it than to say: "Just a plain good movie to enjoy with the family". We saw this in the movie theatre, and hearing the music in the workshop in surround sound was great in the theatre, so having it in a home theatre setting with surround sound is a must. So, turn-off all the lights except for a Christmas tree, and enjoy this movie. It has a lot of scenes and many different action sequences, musical numbers, and heartfelt good stuff. If you have a youngster that's right at that "I'm not so sure about Santa stage", then this is a great movie to keep the spirit alive for a year, or to talk about the transition and the 'spirit' of Christmas. Enjoy.

XL is the only way to go on the Brother Ink

If you're going to replace the ink your Brother Printer / Scanner / Copier, then using the XL cartridges makes the most sense as you get about 600 sheets instead of 300 sheets per cartridge. Also, these Brother PSC units are VERY PICKY- if you are out of one ink color you can't print ANYTHING- yep, not even in black and white if you lose a color cartridge, so buying a box of these to have around is a good idea. They are 'vacuum sealed' so no problems with them drying out- so far. Decent value for a 3-pack too.

I'm glad that Best Buy sells CD cases, but these are kinda cheesy - they're just barely good enough to get by, and they have a hard time staying closed in some cases (no pun intended). I wish that they had a little better locking to hold them closed. Also, if you drop them on a hard surface and the case is open, it is wrecked, so it's a good thing that sell such a large package. These are about the absolute minimum that I can get by with, so I would just barely recommend them - again, they are still better than paper cases and will keep your CD from getting scratched.

Instead of having the "low ink" warnings all the time, save yourself a lot of trouble and buy this extra large size- you get almost twice as many copies as you do the standard black ink - AND - very important, with these goofy Brother PSC devices, you CANNOT PRINT IF your BLACK INK is empty, even if you want to print in all color, or if one of your color tanks out, you still can't print in Black and White, so do not let these cartridges run empty! good luck

These are getting hard to find in the stores, so if you do find one, buy it now. It does a fair job of receiving FM-HD radio and the HD1 and HD2 stations. It has a display for one line of text from the HD station too. Audio isn't bad for a small plastic case, but better with headphones. Please note that this does NOT include the AM band analog or HD- no AM (BUT some FM stations put their local AM station on an HD-2 FM signal, so that might help in some areas. Add AM and I'll add a star!

If you have a 1998 Honda Civic DX and want to change-out the factory radio, this is the way to go, as you'll notice that the radio has an angle on the side, not straight up and down, so have BB get you this special package for your Honda Civic. Priced about the same as many other units.

A Way to Rescue a busted-up screen on a G4

IF you're like most of us, you didn't buy this when you bought your new LG G4 phone; you dropped your phone, the screen is sharp and shattered, BUT the display still works- well this product saves the day. After carefully following the instructions, I added this to the face of the busted sharp G4 and I'm able to use the phone again. Yes, doesn't look so good, but at least I have a phone that works until I get it paid-off in 2 years. Two suggestions: add this BEFORE you drop your phone - OR - if your screen still works electronically, add this to restore it back to life without cutting-up your fingers. Yea, a bit expensive, but saved a phone that costs 10 times as much. Use the two part cleaner/adhesive and it worked pretty well with only a tiny bubble to press out. You mileage may vary, depending on how bad you broke your screen, but IF you can still carefully use the touchscreen, then you can add this to keep your G4 rolling along.

Great Price to watch 2 great comics at work

With the passing of the great Gene Wilder, I just had to buy this movie, and for less than 5 bucks, what a deal. Yes, it is not as funny as Blazing Saddles (co-written by Pryor, and co-starring Wilder), but it is a cute movie and it's funny to see Kevin Spacey with an accent- and hair, you won't even recognize him. Alan North you'll recognize as the harried top cop from the Police Squad movies- and this movie is not for kiddies, thanks to a shower scene with a young Joan Severance. Cute laid back comedy that starts slow, builds up and has quite a surprise ending. 4 out of 5 stars in my book. Enjoy.

Almost a 5; great picture, poor OTA tuner & sound

Hi, this SONY has a wonderful picture- I have zero complaints about that. Now Sony, if you read these, my complaint is that I use an antenna for Over The Air (free) TV, and the tuner is miserable compared to my 2008 Sony TV. The 2008 Sony receives 17 stations, my 2016 Sony TV received 3. I had to add an antenna amplifier to get the 17 stations back. So do I have a bad tuner, or are all your newer TV's produced with a less sensitive tuner? Again, didn't even have to adjust the picture, it is great. I like all the available connections - even has a headphone jack, which many TV sets do not have, but this does, so you can add a Bluetooth transmitter for late night or better listening. Audio, no matter how long I play with it, I could not get a good sound that produced voices clearly, so I had to add a sound bar with an optical cable, and that works pretty decent. Be warned, if you buy an Insignia sound bar, it is taller than the Sony TV stand, so it blocks the Sony remote sensor, so you need to jack-up the Sony TV higher so that the remote works. There is a slight lag from the time you push the buttons on the remote until the TV does its thing, and that never happened with the 2008 Sony, but you have to 'wait' for this one to catch-up. When you scan for channels, make sure you go to settings and select 'digital TV' first, or you will get nothing. The Smart TV is okay, it works, but you have to pay for about everything- didn't have any problems with the Smart TV part at all. If you have a Sony BluRay player, and you turn the Sony BluRay on, it automatically switches the TV input to the BluRay and back off again to TV automatically! Lots of HDMI inputs, a combination Composite / Component input, one USB port, one Digital Optical output for your soundbar or Home Theater Amp if you have one, plus the bonus headphone jack that you can set 3 different ways for its use. Build quality seems okay, so far so good after one month. I love the picture on this Sony compared to the picture on 4 other brands that I looked at. Great picture, just the few picky things I listed, but I would probably buy one again, especially if you can get it for under $400.

Wireless keyboards?
The Best Buy rep insisted that Bravia 48 LED 1080p SmartTV had USB port for "most" wireless keyboards using a dongle. This was the key feature I needed and of all the 1080 TV's in the store, this is the one he suggested. I'm not so sure he was right. It looks like the USB port may only be for plugging in a USB stick. Someone please tell me he was right after all. I'm not looking forward to putting this back in the box and hauling it back to the store.....but believe me, I will.
Wish I could answer- you may need to ask again, as I think it is designed primarily for the OTT dongles, but it also have plenty of HDMI inputs for them as well.

My Bose sound system has an optical connection, does this TV have an optical connection output?

Yes, I use my soundbar with an old MiniDisc TOSLINK optical cable with excellent synced results. Also has a headphone jack too.

Does this TV have a standard RF coaxial input?
I want to connect an indoor antenna to this TV. Need to be sure the TV has a coaxial input.
Yes, it has a standard "F" connector, but you are going to want a decent antenna for this TV- at least my new one is NOT nearly as sensitive of a tuner as my old Sony for OTA TV. Had to add an amplifier to get it to work decent. You also have to go into Settings on the top to tell it to search for only Digital TV channels.

does sony bravia smart tv come with 120 refresh rate?
i only see 60 offered...
I think its a pseudo 120, but really 60, but have had ZERO issues watching sports or movement, at least as far as I can tell.

could i disable the illumination light on this tv?
If you mean you want to listen to a music channel and shutdown the video, that is one of the 'input' choices, so you can do that.

Access to a Web browser?
So there is apps to connect to different ways to watch movies. but what about amazon prime? If not will there be a web browser in the apps?
Yep, I tried Amazon Prime for free for one month and watched 2 movies with no problems at all. Worked quite well and no 'buffering' issues either. Also works decent with Hulu and with Netflix. I don't recall seeing a webrowser, but it doesn't mean that you can't call one up.

Some tv manufactures state that their tvs' support pc streaming. What does that mean?
I want to use my tv as a monitor for my tower pc as well as viewing tv content when I'm not on the pc. Will the Sony Bravia , KDL48W allow that? I have an HDMI connection on my pc.
Don't know why this wouldn't work if you have an HDMI output on the computer. TV has several HDMI inputs, and one USB port too. It mentions "screen mirroring" as one of the inputs, perhaps that is for mirroring your computer screen on the bigscreen? I'll have to try that. You won't be disappointed with the vivid picture and color on this TV, that much is for sure.

how powerful is the sound does it sound like the theater
It is not like a $500 surround sound system, but the subwoofer can get very loud watching a movie and it will be louder and have more bass than your TV can ever produce. There is also 'cinema' setting that makes the stereo separation even better.

It says this is not WiFi enabled. What does this mean?
My TV operates through WiFi. Does this mean this bar will not work?
This bar will still work with your TV if you have any of 3 outputs on the TV: a digital OPTICAL output, RCA audio output jacks, or a small 3.5mm stereo 'headphone' our 'audio out' jack. Any of these 3 ways will allow you to connect to this soundbar. WiFi has nothing to do with it. There is a wireless subwoofer, but it has nothing to do with WiFi either, but has it's only radio frequency (which I do not know what it is- does anybody know?).
