I purchased this television 5 months ago, and am extremely happy with the purchase. I use this TV as a second monitor for my Mac Mini, so i have two 32 inch Samsung TV's next to each other for my computer screen. I works great and has all the easy hook ups to make the process simple to set up. I use a wireless mouse and wireless keyboard and use my computer from across the living room.

WHEN IT COMES TO WALL CHARGERS AND USB CHARGER CORDS I HAVE ALWAYS FOUND THAT NAME BRAND WORKS BEST. I TAKE VERY IMPORTANT PICTURES AND VIDEOS FOR PERSONAL AND WORK AND HAVE FOUND THAT I LOOSE IMAGE QUALITY WITH AN OFF BRAND CORD, BUT HAVE NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES WHEN I AM LOADING IMAGES OR VIDEOS TO MY COMPUTER FROM MY PHONE WHEN I AM USING A NAME BRAND SAMSUNG USB CORD. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR FOLKS.

is this a good tv to use as a monitor
Works great as a monitor. I have a mac mini and use the hdmi slot for a 21 IN screen and the video output with hdmi adapter to this 32 IN smart tv. I can use them together or seperatly, have found streaming to work better from the mac than thru the netflix app built in to the tv. Email and games on one screen and netflix on the other. Done.

Can I use a wireless keyboard?
Yes, you can hook wireless keyboard and mouse to this tv. Take into consideration that any television interface works best with a direct connection to your internet line using a cat 5 ethernet cord, they are a bit sluggish if your are using wifi to search the internet or stream from netflix or hulu. For me i have this smart tv high off the ground so i only use wifi connection, and the lack of speed is ok for me as i would rather not have any cords hanging.

And why are Samsung TVs so much more expensive?
You get what you pay for my man. Samsung products have various levels of quality like all brands do, but you will find that your tech devices of name brand will last longer and the components are more durable. I am still using a Samsung 50inch Plasma flat screen tv from 2008. Have had every device known to man plugged into this thing and all the hdmi and internet jacks are in good work condition. This thing is (old and top heavy) by today's terms, and the base is still strong and rotates with ease. I continue to purchase Samsung because i have never had any other brand last as long.

If this product has apps what are they
No, my friend only "smart" tvs have apps. This is a 720 resolution tv with a built in dvd player only. No smart tv interface, but you can still connect to it with your computer, or streaming devices like roku or chromecast or apple tv thru the connection ports provided. ( which will get you all the apps you need )
