This advertises as a possible deterrent for a pet reoffending an area once you've shampooed with it. I don't find that to be the case with my dog, but it definitely gets rid of the smell and makes me confident that the area is clean.

I bought this hoping I could do a once-over on my rug that my dog had defiled within the first week of having, then to use it as a spot cleaner going forward. Do not make this same mistake...it is LITERALLY just a spot cleaner. Unless you're prepared to sit on the floor and go through several cycles of dumping dirty water and refilling the formula, etc. (I did, though, I wasn't about to rent a machine for a 7x10 and 3x5 rug (the rest of my house is hardwood or tile)...but that's not why my review is 4 stars. I just want to warn you about that...if you've got space to store an upright carpet cleaner and/or you actually have carpet, not just a couple of rugs, in your house, I would say go with that instead.
My only complaints about this unit for it's intended purpose are that the dirty water fills up far too quickly (or rather, it's capacity for dirty water is very low...half the tank still remains empty but it's actually full. Also that it uses a lot of solution to remove very little, so be sure to bargain hunt for all those Oxy solutions and Pet Removal shampoo/cleaners, etc. And finally, the brushes get dirty/clogged very easily which affects the suction.
Overall, though, it's a good machine and is great for a small spot or two at a time. It's a little weighty to be getting in and out all the time, but if you need something only rarely, it's great. I'm trying to teach my dog to stop peeing on rugs, so I feel like I'm constantly getting it out and wonder why I bother putting it away.
Positives...it's compact, it's easy to store, it's aesthetically pleasing (as far as little shampooers go), and it will get the spots up, even if they're a little old. The sooner you get to them, the better, obviously, but I was able to get out old spots with just a little extra elbow grease.
MacBook Air features fifth-generation Intel Core processors with stunning graphics, all-day battery life*, ultrafast flash storage, and great built-in apps. It's thin, light and durable enough to take everywhere you go — and powerful enough to do everything once you get there.

I absolutely love this MacBook Air for what I need to do. The weight (less than 3lbs, I believe) is SO light....it doesn't have a built in CD/DVD drive, but I purchased an external one from Amazon for $30 that I can use to burn or watch/listen DVDs/CDs (cheaper and quieter than the Apple drive that costs $80) and very, very slim. I also don't need that drive when I'm traveling, so I appreciate that the computer weighs less in that event.
The processing speed is fine, but don't think it will be able to handle any graphic intense games (even moderately - like Sims3, etc.).
The screen is great, but I think I'm spoiled by the Retina display on my iPad air...but not sure that I'd want to go with that based on the price difference in models.
The speakers aren't that loud at all, but that's not important to me.
The convenience of being able to FaceTime, TEXT, iMessage, receive a phone call, etc. on the computer is nice...I don't have to constantly pick up my phone to respond - I can seamlessly transition between what I was doing and a message.
I love how I'm able to sync my phone, computer, and iPad now...it is something I've been wanting to do and am happy that it's practically effortless.
I find that Pages and Numbers are FAR better than Word and Excel, but you can also convert them to those formats for people who don't have a Mac. It's the easiest thing in the world.
It didn't take me long to get used to using a Mac after being a lifetime PC user - I'm surprised because I really thought it would be an adjustment and one of the reasons why I hadn't made the switch sooner. But I love it and recommend it to everyone who is looking for something on this performance level.
