Vizio seems to get that some people want a fairly minimalistic TV with a great picture. Building apps into TVs just doesn't make sense. Each TV-maker chooses a different incomplete set of apps to include, user-interface quality is lacking, and updates are late or cease altogether.
While this set does have the tablet and Cast support, I've found it is best when just acting as a gorgeous display for my Apple TV. For a few shows, like Netflix's Marco Polo, I'll go through the Cast process to access 4K & DolbyVision, and the picture is even better, but just using it with 1080p input from the Apple TV 4 is still a far better viewing experience than I had with my 2010 Panasonic plasma, which this replaced.

I bought this for my mother, who has Time Warner Cable. The Roku TWC works well for her and has allowed her to avoid renting an additional cable box for her bedroom TV.
Apple TV has a much better interface for most things, but lacks and Amazon or TWC app, so Roku it was. It's not a bad device. Just a clunky uninspiring user interface and graphic design.

I have two GorillaPods, this one and an SLR model. My advice is to go one size larger than you think you need. Yes, it will be a little heavier, but you will have a lot more flexibility in mounting positions. Think of this one as being mostly for upright or upside down use of a pocket camera. I have a very light camcorder and wasn't able to use this to mount it on a vertical pole, which I was able to do with the SLR model.

Very nice, but slow water flow

It's a good refrigerator with a decent layout and space. The LED lighting is a bit dim and the water dispenser is a bit slow. Otherwise, I have no complaints.
Note that magnets do not stick to the front of this refrigerator, in case you use those for hanging photos and kid's artwork.

Will past CONVENTIONAL remotes from other Vizio flat screen televisions work/control basic functions of this new set? Does anyone know for sure?
I can't answer that, but I can say that my Harmony Smart Control had no trouble controlling the P65-C1. My suspicion is that despite the inclusion of the tablet remote, the IR side is business as usual.
