I'm considering replacing my wired router with an HP Envy 4500 wireless router.
Both my new PC and printer are wireless equipped, but my old laptop is not. Does a wireless router have a port for connecting with a device that is not wireless?
From my own experience most routers, even the simplest ones, have either one or several ports that can be used as a hard wire connection to the internet. I've had a Belkin router, and now have a Netgear quad-channel router and both have the capacity to link several wired units, whether its a Blu-ray player or a smart TV, for example. I hope this helps answer your question,
