now question frigidaire's quality

icicles keep accumulating across the top of the freezer. called for service. the man removed the gasket around the door, applied a sealer and replaced it. problem continued. received a tube of sealer via fed ex.(with no explanation) called about the problem continuing. was basically told to fix it myself. wow!

How loud is it running? Mine is loud and I hate it.

yes, I did notice it was louder than the one it replaced. But it's not bothersome because I keep the windows open. Once the weather turns cold it might be. My concern is the "Luray Caverns" thing going on in the freezer. There is a leak in the gasket causing an accumulation of ice cicles where the seal is defective. The repair man removed the gasket and applied a sealer. Since then FedEx has delivered a tube of sealer. There was no explanation with it. The repair man must have suspected he had not solved the problem. I'm wondering if this is a known problem with this model.
