Had this thing for a week, and very happy with it. Its very customizable, a lot of cool features. Camera overall quality is alright, the S5 has still a better camera, but it has really good light control (meaning, it takes way clearer and better photos at night). Selfie camera tops the S5's, or any other phone I know of for that matter. Its pretty big, so its meh when it comes to typing one-handed, but it has such a good screen quality, everything is just HD. I like the design the best. Sleek and simple. Its pretty light for its size too, just a little smaller than the 6 plus. Battery life is a little behind, compared to most phones, but its not bad. So long as you don't literally stay on your phone for hours in a row, it should last you the whole day. Overall, would recommend. I love it.

Better than M8. Awesome front and rear 13MP cameras. Battery lasts longer than M7 and M8. Awesome!

In love with this phone

I bought this phone about a month ago and I absolutely love it. The only flaw I could actually point out is that the camera is really bad at focusing. Also before I bought this phone I thought it was going to be smaller but I've gotten used to the way it fits in my hand. Battery life is fantastic, boom sound speakers are amazing and loud, and the phone itself is just great. Fast and stylish. I upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S3 so this is my first HTC phone and I can definitely say it was the right call.

the phone is overall great my first htc purchase , I returned the iPhone 5s for this and I must say this is better has a sd card slot good quality phone calls and it takes nice photos the phone is in no way heavy * I can use it with one hand ..the htc software is pretty stable on this compared to samsung , lg models , good battery as well .

Awesome phone

Had this phone 10 months now and I have to say out of all the bigger smartphones I've had this is probably one of the most durable phones I've ever had, to 've honest I CHUNKED it at my dash one day I was mad and there wasn't even a scratch, been dropped multiple times, even accidentally ran it over once, and the screen is still pristine. The cameras are amazing other than it makes everything EXTREMELY sharp. And the only downfall of the speaker placement is when your in a call you have to put the speaker directly on your ear to hear. But all in all its a great phone, the upsides definitely outweigh the down.

I've only had it three days (and the first one I got had a defect out of the box) but I like it so far. It is kind of big, but not quite as big as the big iPhones or Samsung Notes. It is surprisingly lighter than I thought it would be (my smaller HTC One X is much heavier). I like the size of the screen and it fits well in my hand).

Problem with hearing phone calls

Bought this a week ago and had to go through 2 replacement phones. Loud crackling in ear piece that doesn't allow you to hear calls well or at all. Other reviews mention this as well. Please avoid this phone so you don't have to deal with returning multiple times till they give you a different model. Does the one thing wrong a phone should absolutely be able to do.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A great phone at a great price

I just got this phone a month ago and so far no issues. I'm used to several handy features my old moto x had such as being able to select more than one pic at a time or having my phone history contacts etc separated out but this phone works good. The only complaint I have so far is that when trying to cradle the phone on your shoulder while multitasking it always manages to hang up on whoever I'm talking to. There's not an option to lock the screen to keep from pressing buttons while on a call. A couple of major plus' with the phone: great storage space, the speakers are nice, the pictures are awesome both forward and rear cameras and its waterproof!
