don't buy Frigidaire

My dryer motor needs replacement after under 4 years of use. And, I do not use it weekly. I prefer to dry my laundry on my clothesline as it dries faster. My letter to Frigidaire resulted in a telephone call telling me that they could not send me a new motor because the warranty expired. 4 years???? I consider the cost of this dryer not cheap and the web site and literature tells me it is high quality and reliable. It is not, obviously. There was a time when this was considered an excellent brand. Now it is being overshadowed by other manufacturers for good reason. I will not buy it again, and I will be sure to tell others not to buy it. I am outraged that a dryer gave me only 4 years of limited use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
