I love my new range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is sleek and really good looking. The burners heat up so faster and I seem to be using lower settings than I did on my old smooth top. I am still not totally comfortable with the convection oven yet but I think I will use it more as I get more experience with it. My only problem was the control touch being so sensitive. I remembered something about locking the controls and found how to in the manual. Now no more unnecessary beeping.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This electric range is everything that we had hoped for. Clean lines, easy controls, quick responsive burners for an electric cooktop. The only negative was that a broiler pan was not included, something that has to be purchased afterwards.

Burner burn out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this in March 2011 and the back left burner is not working. It is August 2012 and I think it should last longer than this. I love this range and everything about it. But, I am very disappointed in this.

The controls are too sensitive, otherwise still getting used to the configeration of burners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The convection oven is good for baked products. I find the controls for the burners confusing so have to always make sure that I'm turning them on correctly. We needed the spacer to fill in the bare spot in back by the cabinet from my previous GE slide-in range, but the frame of this oven is crooked so the spacer fill-in sits crooked--something we need to deal with when we have time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really love this stove.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this stove for a month now, was a little concerned about the fan that kept running after I was done baking pizza. But that's a safety feature to cool your control panel from over heating. I think the elements are quick to work. Compared to the solid coil that I use to fight with for 16 years, it feels like I have induction. The control pad is sensitive, but you can just press control lock out #s 9 & 0 at the same time for 3 secs. and it can be locked and solve the problem for cleaning purposes or for wandering fingers. Going out this week to by a griddle to try the bridge elements. The convection adjusts temp automaticaly a feature that I had to adjust the temp myself with my old convection oven. Haven't used the probe but will try it out soon. I like the feature of being able to adjust the oven temp. by 35 degress during cycle. So much inc.

'very unhappy with this product

I have had this stove less then a year. I boiled pasta the second time I used it and a small amount of water went over onto the burner. Did everything the book said to try and remove it. Even had the tech come out and was told it was a water stain.I had my last smooth top stove for 17 yrs. and it didn't have a mark on it, as I take very good care of my appliances. This stove marks so easlly and some don't come off, even with the cream, vinegar, etc. . Also the controls are so sensitive and come on with just the touch of my shirt if I am bending slightly over to stir something even on the front burners. I am so upset and have expressed my concerns, but guess it went on deaf ears. I would never buy another GE product due to this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
