Great for people who need more than a pitcher

Purchased this about a month ago. Love the ease of having more than a pitcher of water at a time. Wish they would recommend specific water coolers that work with it but other than that love using it.

Almost a great item.... stainless steel used for the base & cover... kind of a waste if you ask me. Stainless should be in what contacts the actual water, the pre filter reservoir & the spigot... both are plastic.... was really hoping for SSteel.... Could have easily done so price wise, but alas in our presentation over purpose consumer mentality... Zero... if you decide to offer metal components please let me know I’d definitely upgrade.

I made 3 bad purchases online in 2020 and this dispenser was one of them. I wish I’d searched the web for reviews before I made the purchase, but I didn’t think I had to since I’ve been using Zero Water products for 6 years and I’ve been very satisfied…until now.
I thought it was synchronicity when the holiday sale email arrived in my inbox the very day the spigot snapped on my 3-yr. old 23-cup dispenser. I consume a lot of water daily and also have an 8-cup pitcher. When I saw this 40-cup unit on sale for almost 50% off, I jumped on it.
I got “a feeling” when it took over 2 weeks to arrive (didn’t even ship out for 10 days after I ordered). Then it arrived scratched and with bubbles in the glass. Upon initial assembly, the dispenser slid around on the base and the lid didn’t fit securely.
Before using it, I reached out to Zero Water because of my partner’s concern about the scratches and bubbles. The CSR assured me that the scratches and bubbles would not compromise the integrity of the container and that the unit would stay securely on the base after being filled. She also informed me that if the lid fit tightly on this unit, a vacuum would be created, inhibiting the water flow.
Well, guess what? #1, no one wants a damaged product that’s supposed to be brand new. #2, the full tank still slides on the base. #3, a vacuum still occurs so we have to slide or “jiggle” the filter holder around to release it because the water flow is SO SLOW! It feels like an eternity to fill a 24 oz. water bottle. #4, I have to keep a towel on my counter because the spigot leaks after each use. #5, we never get all the water out because the spigot is not near the bottom of the tank.
I found reviews on Home Depot, etc. from consumers with the same complaints. Lesson learned. Drinking fresh water shouldn’t be such an ordeal. SO DISSAPOINTED! My rating of 2 stars was only that high because the tank holds so much water and the filters work so well.

Based on the condition of the pitcher, I have great reason to believe that they sent me a used and returned pitcher. I cleaned it up well, and I'm currently making it work. This is not my first product, so I expected better from this company. I'm not sure why they keep contacting me to write a review. I've already made a post.

I am very happy with this water filter. We live off grid and wanted a passive way to clean out our drinking water. We have purchased a distiller yet that takes power to use and it is a slow process. This filter gets water as clean as distilled water yet it does it quickly and doesn't take any power. I recommend this system for any homestead.

I love the glass and stainless steel. The spigot is easy to use, which is very necessary for me. We have kitchen faucet with extension spout that makes it very easy to fill. We keep it next to our sink on the counter. Visually appealing.

The spout leaks a lot of water. I reached out and asked to return the item but was told that they will send me a replacement for the spout so we shall see…
