Less than satisfying

I had high hopes for this product and unfortunately I didn’t read all reviews for purchasing. I don’t recommend this at all. Serious design flaw with the position of the spigot. Zero Water needs to design a retro fit to fix the issue or do a complete redesign or discontinue this product. The current description is a grossly misleading characterization of how much water can be dispensed versus how much water can be held. I’ve been a zero water customer for years but this has soured me and not sure I’d spend any more money on zero water products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Let me first off start by saying how much I love my zero water products. However, this was not my favorite. I really wanted to love it, but for the price it feel a little short. I never thought about how heavy it would be to move from my sink back onto its stand after I had filled I up, plus the weight of the glass. And the water nozzle is higher up, I understand its so it doesn't hit anything when not on the stand, but it leaves a considerable amount that you cant reach unless its tilted. Basically its just one accident away from shattering. I loved the idea of glass because the 30 cup filters have some groves that are hard to clean and I have noticed mold growing, where I cant clean. Overall, I still love it and we go through water so fast between 3 people drinking water all day and cooking with filtered water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We do appreciate your comments and feedback on the glass dispenser, we recommend using a large glass or measuring cup to fill the upper reservoir so you do not have to move the glass off the base. Also if you simply keep the carafe at least half full at all times you will not need to worry about the 2 cups of water that sits below the spigot.

My only problem with this product and all other systems using a filter is the plastic waste. How about coming up with a material that is compostable? Bamboo comes to mind.

Higher capacity is great, but...

I like that this is easy to use and easy to clean. It has maintained its integrity well, with no issues in terms of leaks, etc. My only wonder is why the spout is located so high from the bottom of the dispenser, when it is already on a pedestal.

This dispenser is pretty, I give it that. Much better on the eyes than the big blue dispenser we have. However, it's so big that it doesn't even fit in the fridge. We have to leave it on the counter which forces us to drink room temp water. I'm not sure if the temperature of the water makes it taste weird? Our blue one in the fridge tastes fine. This water has an odd taste. I would return it if I could. It was very expensive and we don't even use it.

This unit is near perfect but not quite yet. I had a problem getting the nozzle on right; it was leaking water the first couple of hours, and I wasn't sure why. Twice I had to empty everything out, take off the faucet with the washers and put them back on again, plus, the faucet is positioned a little too high for me. I think it should be and inch or two lower before I have to fill up the tank again. Other than that, the taste is spectacular, and I'm so happy to have water that tests for purification. It's like having distilled water without that dreadful taste. Would I recommend this to friends and family? The answer is yes.
