Plastic spigot it comes with was shedding silver paint into our water, so we replaced it with a steel one. The flow gets very slow unless you lift up the filter regularly. The quality of water seems good though.

It's great to have a large container of filtered water readily available. The reason for only 4 stars? While the tank is glass, the base and lid are metal; the spigot is plastic and I'm not sure it will last.

This is my fourth Zero water product over the years. I've had two pitchers then I bought the 30 cup plastic (all worked excellently). I use filtered water for tea and cooking, so this is a crucial addition to the health arsenal. Unfortunately, when I got this 40 cup glass unit, Fedex delivered box of shattered glass (I was so upset). I called customer service and they sent me a replacement. It's now sitting prettily on my countertop. Has smaller footprint than 30 cup unit. Thanks for great product and great service.
