Great product

I've had many water pitchers from zero water I love using the total dissolve solid tester (TDS)
I use it on source order I use it to determine what is the best bottled water.
I bought a water cooler that had an ice maker on the bottom and that was great because then I could finally get zero water ice cubes.
I recommend this product.

Very pleased with the glass and metal construction. As another reviewer noted, the plastic spigot was a disappointment, but we replaced with a $12 stainless spigot. The spigot could definitely be much lower, since the base raises the tank up. We positioned ours by the sink and it is easy to keep filled. All in all, another fine product from Zero Water.

Plastic base instead of stainless steel

I was sold on this pricey dispenser due to the description of a sleek stainless steel base, and I specifically upgraded from the smaller version in order to avoid plastic. I just received my 40-cup water dispenser, and it has a *plastic* base. I'm so perturbed. I hope the company will rectify this!

Awful! Plastic water basket gets moldy quickly. I bought a second one and the same thing is happening.

We are sorry to hear about the issue with your dispenser, it may help if you make sure that the dispenser is not sitting in direct sunlight. Also, we do recommend cleaning the unit on a very regular basis. Even if it is just the upper plastic reservoir, it is best to clean the unit thoroughly at least once every couple of weeks. This is the easiest and best way to avoid buying tons of water bottles. The water is cleaner and right at our disposal. I bought glass bottles and keep them filled, plus take them out with cushion covers. Having our own water at home is the best thing that happened to our health.
