Best out there

I have been using zero water since 2008. I have tried other systems but this is the best. I don't know why more people don't know about this company. I have 2 units of the 5 gallon water cooler 5 stage system. I just put one in the office. I got tired of using water bottles and proved to everyone that this water was cleaner, better filtered than the water bottles. Two of the employees who drink alot of water, 8-10 big glasses a day, were drinking out of the faucet. Now with the zero water, they taste a huge difference and can't thank me enough. Don't ever stop selling this system.

The Ready Pour Valve

I drink more water knowing contaminants have been removed. When you go back and have a drink of city water, it about makes me gag. I am very particular about the taste of my coffee and the Zero Water scores high marks for the improvement made in that regard.
Sometimes though it seems the filters flow way too slowly, even when just replaced.
I do wish they would design an easier to use valve. Something that could lock in the open position, especially when you need to fill a pan with water would sure be nice to keep a hand from cramping while holding it open for so long.

There is a leak from the top jug to middle jug

There is a leak from the top jug to middle jug. Zero water should include a gasket to not have unfiltered water going to filter water. It is messing with the water balance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There should be an O-Ring that is installed into the filter adaptor that would prevent the unfiltered water from mixing into the lower chamber. Please call customer service at 1-800-503-2939 for assistance

Great product! Water filtered through Zero filters tastes as good as bottled water. The Zero 5 gallon water cooler fits the Primo water station perfectly after removing the splash guard & spike. Great purchase!

Well Water Corrected

We have well water and live Seaside. Untreated, our water is unacceptable. With the Zero water dispenser, our water is safe and palatable for cooking and drinking. I could only wish for a larger tank capacity. Thank you.

The best dispenser for me and the spigot
on October 24, 2018

Prior to getting the Zerowater 40 Cup Glass Dispenser, I had the 30 Cup Plastic Dispenser. This glass dispenser is really the best because it is the easiest to clean.
When I change the filter, I sterilize the whole container with bleach. Doesn't matter which container. I sterilize it. Then I wash with dish detergent to remove the traces of chlorine bleach. Finally, I dry the container and parts, inside and out. The water quality meter will detect the droplets of unfiltered water if you don't remove the water by drying. That is how sensitive the meter is. So, dry it with a clean towel.
Then, I insert the filter and I'm ready to go.
I change the filter when the water quality meter shows 006ppm, as per instructions. And I also change the filter when the water's taste degrades, even if the water quality meter still shows 000ppm. If your water consumption rate is very slow, the water taste can degrade even though the water quality is still at 000ppm. I think that is because slow water consumption gives bacteria time to multiply. That is why I make sure to sterilize when I change the filter.
Other than Zerowater, I still have yet to hear of any water filter company that gives you a water quality meter to compare their filter to other companies' filters. I've tested other filters with the meter. Zerowater's filter is the only one I found that gets the meter to zero.
From the current picture of the 40 Cup Glass Dispenser, looks like Zerowater upgraded the spigot. My 40 Cup Glass Dispenser, I had a different spigot. I did not like the spigot because it was hard to hold down the push button when filling large containers such as a coffee urn. I found that there are aftermarket spigots for water dispensers. If for any reason you don't like the spigot that comes with the 40 Cup Glass Dispenser, you can find an aftermarket spigot at someplace like Amazon or eBay. High quality spigots are still cheap. The size appears to be standard. Replacing the spigot is as simple as unscrewing the nut, putting in the new spigot with silicone washers, and screwing in the nut.
This dispenser is too big to keep in the refrigerator. But I did not keep my previous 30 Cup Plastic dispenser in the refrigerator, even though it would fit.
With a pitcher, you have to tilt to dispense. If you fill with tap water, the tap water will spill when you tilt. Therefore, you have to wait until the tap water is filtered to dispense, even though there is some already filtered water available. Unlike the pitcher dispensers, this 40 Cup Glass Dispenser allows you to filter more water while you dispense.

Good filter but leaves black residue

Maybe all the filters of zero water are like this - they all have black residue which float in the Tank where you pour tap water. Also after a while the same black residue settles to the bottom as well.

Doesn't fit my base dispenser
on July 5, 2022

It doesn't fit my base dispenser properly and I don't know why.
I also couldn't find any compatibility details when trying to research this ahead of time.
Response from zerowater.comBy ZeroWater TeamJuly 7, 2022
We do apologize for the difficulty that you are having with the bottle unit. Pretty much any top load dispenser will work with the ZeroWater bottle system as long as the well is at least 6 inches in diameter and at least 6 inches in depth. Also, if the unit has a spike or a splash guard both of those pieces must be removable. We recommend contacting the company Aquverse as they are familiar with our system and have units that work well with the ZeroWater bottle system
