Spout leaks

I have several of the plastic pitchers but liked the idea of one large pitcher to save space on my counter. I put together the spout per the instruction, and added enough water to use the spout. Nothing came out of the spout but water flowed out from under it. I tried to tighten it again but couldn't stop the plastic parts of the spout from spinning. Plastic washers and nut seem to be the problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointing. Had it for 3 weeks and already needed a filter change. Not happy about that at all. Sorry it didnt work out for us, it seemed so promising.

Solid... But..

Mostly happy with the product. However a few cons :
1. The top of the unit can only be filled with enough water such that it doesn't over fill the bottom. Judging how much you can put into the top is irritating. The top should be sealed to the bottom so you could fill the top portion fully up. 2. The "floater" approach is problematic with any base you buy if the base pierces the water bottle. The piercing part doesn't leave room for the floater mechanism zero water uses. It should come with 2 attachments. One where it can be used with a piercer base.. And the floater for others. In my case, i had to cut the floater part in half "horizontally" to barely get it to fit in the base.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Save your money! Pretty container but the spigot is plastic and leaks everywhere. Cust svc sent a replacement spigot and the same thing happens. Product was thrown in trash

Make sure the rounded sides of the gaskets are facing into the glass and then you must find a bit of a "sweet spot" if you will with the tightness of the nut on the inside of the spigot. It cannot be too tight and obviously it cannot too loose. It really takes trial and error sometimes but if you find the perfect tightness it will not leak.

took a week for it to read 000. At first it was reading 040.

Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. The most accurate way to get reading is to test the water directly inside the pitcher. You can do this by removing the reservoir from the pitcher and sticking the meter in the filtered water sitting in the pitcher. If you get a 000 reading inside the pitcher it is possible that the cup or glass you were using before had soap residue on it causing the meter to read above 000. If you are not getting 000 in the pitcher, try the following steps to see if you can get the filter to read 000 on the meter.
Dry off the filter with a clean paper towel. Then place the filter over a clean paper cup.
Run a small amount of water directly into the filter and test the water that collects into the cup. If the meter does not read 000 it is possible that unfiltered water got into the pitcher via a leak at the O-ring. In order for filtered water to read correctly there must be a perfect seal where the filter is screwed into the reservoir. Make sure the filter is screwed in from the bottom not dropped in from the top.

I am enjoying the Zero Water 40-cup Ready Pour Dispenser. It is a good size for my needs and I am thrilled with the taste of the filtered water. My only complaint is with the spout which has started to leak on two occations. Both times I had to drain and re=assemble the spout into the container. The second time I swapped the inner and outer washers and so far it has been OK.

Love the glass container but the lid turns the rim of the plastic container that holds the filter and water black due to the rubbing of the lid. Plastic filter pan needs an air relief to eliminate a vapor lock which restricts flow of water. Gasket on the spout is poor design water weeps past seal.
I would recommend this to a friend!
