40 Cup Glass Dispenser The Best

I have been using this filter for 12 months. Excellent quality product. The water tastes fabulous and has many contaminants removed

Questionable design and reviews

I bought the 40 cup dispenser, and have concerns. In fact, I feel ashamed for falling for this.
1) The spout location is high, so that about a quarter of the actual capacity of the water is below it and thus cannot be dispensed.
2) Some other large percentage of the capacity is taking up by the "upper portion" where you load water to filter. eventually you'll be able to drink that water, but it's not usable for some time because of the slow filter, which in all fairness is just a trait of gravity feed purifiers.
3) I looked back into the reviews to see if other people mention these concerns, and it looks like The company and their website makes their reviews among the different products, so that you might be reading a review for a different item and thinking it's a good mention of this one. Many are vague and I believe I've seen specific examples of actually being for other products. Furthermore, how likely is it that nobody has entered comments on the lower reviews? So this review is actually also a test of their system to find out if they will even publish a low review.
4) If they make questionable design decisions and suspect sales claims, how can I really trust them?

That said, the filter does seem to work fine. I bought it to get away from having to buy distilled water for humidifiers, and it seems to be working as well as the store bought water did. And although I keep it out of direct sunlight, it certainly hasn't been completely dark, so the fact that it has not developed any kind of algal growth, hard water marks, etc. is a sign in their favor. I have not used their little tester to verify quantitatively.

We drink ALOT of water and are really appreciating this dispenser. The only suggestion we would have is that the spigot be made of metal versus plastic as we can see this could get easily broken.

Love Clean Water

I purchased this to have a clean water all the time. And these times everything has gotten so expensive including water best decision ever. I will say the spout is very cheap. I almost feel like every time I open it it’s going to break. That would be the one thing I would recommend on improvement for this product.

I love this thing

Bought this about 2 years ago. I love that it's glass - no plastic chemical leaching into water! The 40 cup capacity is great -- I can use it for all cooking, including pasta, vegetables. And I'. experiencing an unexpected bonus. When I lived in New Jersey, in an area with extremely hard water, a filter would last only about 2 1/2 weeks. But now, in New York City, with water that has low TDS, my filters last soooo much longer. I use one every 4 months or so!!!! So if you are taken aback by cost of filters, check the tds in your water supply. The Zerowater kit comes with a tds measuring tool. You might be really pleasantly surprised. I know I am!

Good size and design but slow water release

I love the glass container. Very attractive to have sitting out in kitchen. BUT the water valve releases water so ver very slow. It is almost a drip. Got new valve and NO better. Water comes out too slow to make this large container functional. I believe placement should be lower on the date resorvior.

Leaking spigot renders product unusable

Spigot leaks around hole in jug. Repositioned about five different times, even seemed to get a perfect seal a few times. Then the spigot starts leaking again, soaking countertop and everything on it remarkably quickly. Wish I’d never laid eyes on this thing.

We had a Zero Water 30 cup dispenser for several years so we were already knowledgeable about the difference and advantages of Zero Water. We purchased the 40 cup dispenser so we would have a larger one. The 40 cup dispenser is the one to have in our opinion. Its appearance, quality, and ease of use is excellent. We will not drink local tap water ever again.
