Simply perfect

My new freezer replaced a thirty five year old freezer which ran constantly and leaked refrigerant. It is wonderful to own a freezer that has the latest technology incorporated in a modern, clean design.

Solid, convenient and cold

We have had this freezer about a month and we are quite happy with it. The upright is much more convenient than our old chest freezer, has a lot more space and the temperature controls are staying well below the suggested temperature without being anywhere near the max cold setting.

Worked Great So Far

We've had it since Dec of 2013. So far it has worked great. Haven't tried out a lot of the features as we have not needed them. It is downstairs in our garage. I know I've read many people saying it is loud but I really don't think it is at all. My frig is probably louder. So far it's been great!

Complete meltdown within 2 months

Purchased this item less than two months ago and came home to a complete mess after work. Yes it was plugged in, and NO the door was not open. While we were throwing out an entire freezer full of meet, the freezer did not even attempt at trying to run. Luckily we have a great local distributor who we won't have any problems dealing with. I know Whirpool is a great brand and will probably buy from them again. Just wanted to ensure that Whirpool knew that there was a faulty one out there. On the positive note- I learned it was VERY easy to clean! Shelves slide out easily and there are next to no nooks and crannies to collect dirt.

Exceeded expectations!

We bought the Whirlpool upright model freezer in July of 2014. The door opened in the wrong direction but by carefully following the enclosed instructions I was able change the hinges and door handle. It was easy.The freezer works as advertised and has been problem free. I would recommend this model for families who require lots of freezer space and prefer the upright model.

Very good upright freezer

We have had this freezer for a couple of months now. We really love it. Its a good size for a family of four. Its not super quite but quite enough and since we have it in the garage, we don't hear it anyway :)
