A fine freezer, does what it's supposed to.

I like this freezer. i like the positioning of the air vents, and the'shelves.The only negative is mechanical. The door handle, and the bottom kickplate tend to fall off without warning.

This is a good product except for the basket drawer which is

The basket drawer in which I keep frozen vegetable packets and similar foods is okay and a good idea but it is cheaply made so that it comes off the runners at the slightest provocation.

Quiet and Reliable

We have had our freezer for three months. It is quiet - I have a relatively new refrigerator in the basement and you can always hear that running, but I have to check that the freezer is working, it's so quiet. Keeps all items frozen, from juices to pizzas to meat.

Reversing the door difficult, defrost issues after 1 yr

We purchased this freezer in 2013 and it performed well for a year.Reversing the door was rather problematic because the door moulding doesn't interface with the interior light switch in a very robust manner. We had to loosen all the casing screws on the thermostat surround in order to position it so that the door would close properly.The defrost timer failed in the unit just outside of the 1 year warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
