Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum 7.6 cu.ft. HE Dryer With Awesome F

Purchased about one month ago...October 2014....This is a wonderful dryer. We have a small laundry room and the hand pull from the top of the door, with the cut away top, gives us lots of extra room to get the clothes in and out of the dryer, and being 6' you can see down into the dryer, to make sure you don't forget that last sock. We also love the lit drum, we can actually see what we are looking for, when needing to remove a certain piece of laundry, or for removing that last tiny glove or hat, from the back of the drum, no more missing socks or gloves. The control panel makes me feel special, with it's beautiful platinum color, and illuminated control display. It is not only good looking, but easy to read and use, with it's large illuminated numbers, and display. I also like the left to right programing. Wow, I almost forgot to tell you about the huge drum, we have three large rescue dogs and wash lots of dog bedding, and comforters, and this dryer isn't playing when it comes to room for that extra dog pillow, or large heavy comforter. It is so large the laundry has lots of room to tumble, and dries quicker, and comes out less wrinkled. And quiet,.... my last dryer I had to close the laundry room door, and the Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum, is so quiet, I can't hear it running, even with the door open. The only thing I can think of, that I haven't been able to get used to is the lint screen, needs cleaned on both sides. One side is covered and the other will have a little bit of lint on it. But I like the fact the lint trap screen slot, has a spring loaded flap that closes off the opening, when the screen is out of the dryer for cleaning. The screen seems to fit nice and snug, so the lint crumbs aren't in the door, and falling on the floor, when you open it. Another nice feature is the pause button when you want to remove something before the completion of the cycle. Oh! and it also has an energy saver selector, that tells you, if your selection is giving you good or the best energy savings, and would you like to select a few minutes longer for extra energy savings or not.... I have not yet tried the timed program selector on the unit, because of the nice pre-programed cycles. With a push of the power button, a twists of the dial to my favorite pre-programed cycle, a glance at the energy savings display, and a push of the start/pause button. And Ahhhh the peace and quiet, of an excellent, efficient dryer, tumbling my laundry to drying perfection. So far, so good, looking forward to the next time I need to do the laundry.

Great dryer!

This dryer will quickly dry huge loads of laundry. It is quiet and has all the features I need. I had a Samsung dryer with tons of features, and I never used them. This Whirlpool dryer was reasonably priced and works great. My old dryer would roll my sheets into a giant ball, and they'd still be damp in the middle, but I don't have that problem at all with my Whirlpool.

Great Modern Looking Dryer

I didn't want a dryer that was high tech, I just wanted a good dryer. The salesperson suggested this based on my requirements, which actually did include some high tech features and this was delivered a week or so later. It dries clothes quickly and I like that you can select how you dry by how energy efficient you want to be.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my first true Whirlpool front loading dryer. I love it. It dries 2x faster than my old brand and leaves no wrinkles. I do not have the optional steam dry option, but this dryer does it all anyway. Quiet and powerful!

My new "Sense Everything" dryer

I have been amazed at how well it senses the drying levels for all fabrics. I've had this dryer for 3 weeks and everything has come out beautifully!
