We moved into a new house in July and purchased a new washer and dryer. Both are great to use and very quiet when running. Really like the drying cycles of the dryer and the ease to clean the dryer vent. I would make the purchase again

I bought this product when my old dryer stopped working. It is very quiet. Our dryer is located next to bedrooms and using it at night doesn't disturb anyone. The large door opening is very convenient for loading and unloading bulky items or large loads. There are plenty of features. More features than I think I will ever need, but its still nice to know they are there. The Eco boost feature is especially nice.

I'm replacing my 25 year old Whirlpool Electric Dryer. I wanted something new and more energy efficient. I like that it adjusts to the moisture of the load. It's very quiet and very easy to use. I would recommend this dryer to a friend.

We have had both my Washing and Drying machines for 10 years. I just can't begin to tell you what the other units went through: dirty clothes from my son playing mechanic on his car, my husband coming from an Airport after refueling, and towing all kinds of airplanes, my son coming from a rainy day of golf practice, the times in which my hubby came from 4 wheeling up in the mountains with his friends . . . Mud everywhere . . . I think the old unit still had some Grand Father mountain mud in it!Like everything it all happen at once, the old dryer took twice its normal cycle to dry my whites, and the washer . . . let's say it stopped mid-cycle and never threw the water out. Two appliances out at once! That same day, we went "looking" for appliances . . . (My husband and I). We made it a date out of it. It was entertaining, just like the first time we went to purchase for appliances when we first got engaged! :) After looking at all the "new" Technological wonders on the showroom of the local appliance store, we made a decision. The Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum 7.6 Cu. Ft. Washer & Dryer, Whirlpool Combo. We both have special sweatshirts from back in the day, I have always been critical of those sweatshirts, they have been with us since 1987 . . . College School sweatshirts that can never be replaced. In reading the manual, I found for the first time that a Washing Machine could be "Programmed" to wash my heirlooms! WOW! I was excited, and at the same time full of apprehension. However, faith in technology paved the way. Read the manual, and decided the best course of washing . . .Although it was recommended to wash what I think of delicates, in the Delicate cycle, I took the leap of faith and went for the Normal Cycle. For the first time in 10 years, the Washing system elected the Washing Cycle for me: Warm Water, at a Medium Speed, with a Normal Soil Level. The other important factor on all this decision was the knowledge of having an HE detergent dispenser, as oppose to "guesstimatimng" a sufficient amount of detergent to clean the clothes. Even the noises the Washing Machine made where different . . . a mechanical/electronic swish-swash with a slight humming. It really didn't take long for all my clothes to be washed . . . it took a shorter amount of time than with the old system. When all was said and done, the "alarm" went off. Wait . . . an ALARM that tells you the machine is done! WOW! I rushed to the machine . . . opened it and the precious aroma of clean clothes went right up my nostrils. It was a moment in time that made me go back several years, you can literally smell the cleanliness in the clothes. I took my favorite sweatshirt, and touched it . . . it was damped, and not soggy and wet like I was accustomed to having it come out of the old washing machine! WOW . . . it felt soft, and malleable, with that clean natural scent. It just felt like when my husband gave it to me on our first date! Fluffy, springy, malleable, not scratchy, and above all "natural" . . . it was a great feeling. If the washing machine did all that, what could the Dryer accomplish!I took all the garments out of the Washing Machine and placed them in its conveniently large door, and then went through the same selection format. My Dryer has the capability of sensing moisture on the clothing and shuts down when the "machine" senses all the clothes are dry! WOW! I placed my sweatshirt collection inside the dryer and place it on the Normal Cycle, which gave instructions to the Dryer to dry my clothes on: Medium, with a Normal Dryness Level, within a span of time of 38 min, with an alarm chime at the end of the cycle. The Dryer took 30 minutes to dry my clothes! When I took the clothes out, I was simply amazed . . . the Sweatshirt looked renewed . . . Softer, Fluffier, with bounce to the material, warm, and not scolding hot like I was accustom to. Immediately, I took time and put my sweatshirt on . . . No Static! Not Scratchy Feeling! I didn't even have to stretch it to make me fit, and above it all, it came out warm, soft, malleable, it felt thicker, and with that cleanliness smell . . . I wish I can describe to you that smell . . . It was like a hung sweatshirt from a drying line . . . it was a natural dryness to it. Like a spring/summer time sun, with a soft breeze dryness . . . Like when my Mother use to hang some garments on the line to dry . . . that was how this Sweatshirt felt. Subsequently, all our clothes have had that same wonderful experience.I strongly recommend these products to anyone and everyone. Technology is truly amazing . . . set the dial, wait for the wash to be done , and believe me, they will be done in no time, and then afterwards place everything inside the Dryer, and you will be jetted back to a wonderful more simpler time . . . when everything use to be softer, fluffier, malleable, and above all prettier!Happy Washing & Drying

I love this dryer it saves on electricity and gets the job done. You do have to put it on a manual setting for towels so they won't smell soured because the dampness sensor shuts them off before the inside is dry. This is the case with any washer with this feature.
