Ice Maker Problems

We have had this model for several years. About twice a year I have to work on the ice maker. Also, condensation builds up on the outside of the rear panel of the unit and has caused it to rust. A friend of mine has the exact same problems with his Frigidaire.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ice maker Issues

The overall rating for my Appliance is good. However there is a problem with the Ice Maker and Water supply. The problem is it keeps stop working. The Design should be better. I had the same issue with last Refrigerator from your Company. Frigidaire had to replace the unit that was not even a Year old. Sorry but I am just being Honest to the Consumer who would like to Purchase this Model.

Unreliable and poor quality

I won't buy another Frigidaire Professional 28 Cu Ft

The shelves are cheaply built and break easily.
The icemaker has a history of freezing over requiring a kit to repair.

Nice looking

I read through the reviews and it seems that I am having the same issues as the other reviewers. I bought the fridge in Feb 2012. So, far the gaskets for the ice maker have been replaced. The temperature sensor has been replaced. The mother board has been replaced. Still, the ice maker fails and floods the compartment. The latest development has been the fan is loud and slmosting grinding. Then the ice make did it again, flooded the compartment (water dispenser) and the kitchen floor. Get the extended warranty! I am dealing with my 6th repair.

apparently mine is damaged....have had nothing but problems and four repair orders....last one says irreparable, so we'll see if Frigidaire is honorable.

Wow! This fridge is absolutely beautiful! It has tons of room and has a very simple interface to control temp. I love the crushed ice feature, and the ice itself is very unique.
I would recommend this to a friend!

French Door Refrigerator

In general, I like the french Door Refrigerator with the ice/water in the door. The one thing I would change is how the far out the full drawer comes out - it would be nice if it came out a few inches more to allow easier access to the back of the drawer (I know you can put it out farther but it would be better if it was part of the drawer opening).
