I have used this product for about 12 months. It seems to have become progressively worse. When new the signal to the Sony TV in the next room was good. Nowdays the connection often fails and the signal is lost. The signal to my computer is fine. Its particularly bad when connected to the ABC's iView or SBS's equivalent. Best signal I can get from the Router is two bars. Often have to reset the network connection.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Setting up the connection is a matter of plugging in the device and knowing all your wireless connection.
I was surprised at the reception of the device as my wireless was 2 rooms away and yet you get minimal lag when loading videos from ABC iView / YouTube channels. I was informed by someone that the best way was to use an AV Powerline Adapter to get the best signal strength but it cost more and it will use more power in the long run.
If there is one thing I would want change is the way it looks, maybe a bit more 'sleeker' or something that can be integrated externally to the Bravia TV.
Well done Sony! You never fail to impress
Pros: Ease of Use, Quality, Value for Money

Bought this to eliminate the cable to my Bravia TV. Incredibly simple to install and works perfectly. As soon as it was plugged into the USB of the TV it found it and presented a menu on the TV screen for setup of SSID and WPA2 key.
I am a networking engineer by profession and this really is a breath of fresh air to find something simple to setup that actually works.
Downsides are that it is a Sony proprietry product but I guess that is the point. It is designed to work with Sony products. Try other brands and they have a similar setup - that is it is proprietry to their equipment.
In summary all I can write is great product - highly recommended.
Pros: Ease of Use, Quality, Value for Money, Durability, Features

I have had no issues with this product, the installation was simple and hassle free. I like the included porting device. A little on the expensive side but it does enhance the features of your TV.
