This scanner works perfectly for travel when you need to send documents back to the office or home.
I wish there was a connection for the iPad so I didn't always have to carry my laptop, but as far as the device itself, it is lightweight, space saving in your carry on bag and works well.

Love the scanner but, have a few suggestions:
1. When trying to scan receipts, being thin, they won't start automatically. Plastic cover is a pain.

2. Would like to see software that would automatically date and categorize the items scanned, and even run a balance sheet.

Purchased the DSmobile® 600 with some reserve as it is so small-
I am totally impressed with how well it works, the small size is just an added plus! Worked right out of the box, no problems with the driver or software on Windows 7 64 bit-
Brother has outdone themselves with this product!

This product does not work correctly with Windows 7 64-bit. The drivers will install but it appears to be impossible to calibrate the scanner. It worked fine on Windows 7 32-bit but was unable to function after a reinstall to 64-bit. When I was running 32-bit, the scanner worked well but did require cleaning from time to time. It is inexpensive and has a very small footprint.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Able to better organize all my important documents by using the scanner, and further able to recycle documents that otherwise would be cluttering up my file cabinets. I simply love this device!
