I really like my LG ALLY the only problem I am having is that I can not view MMS that has animation/movement! I really find it annoying that it doesnt work on my new and "improved" phone. Other than the battery life being short lived, I really like this phone. If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated!

Phone locks up. LG is a fantastic product, but when it teamed up with Droid, it failed to meet my expectations. It's operating system isn't at all what I expected. Unable to d/l apps without phone locking up. Drops calls, volume is poor quality. Constantly locks up.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Ally. It just restarts and freezes sometimes also it doesnt take to back button sometimes when pressed after screen protecter put on. The SD slot fails like 8 times a day where ill have to remove SD and put it back in. Kinda upsetting.. I love LG phones in general. I Give this phone a 4 out of 5 also restarts when camera is opened sometimes other than that ill stick it out for 2 years with this phone :)
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings

This is the first smart phone i have ever had, and must say, overall i do like it. I am disappointed by the fact that it is running on the ARMv6 processor, which prevents it from being able to use anything that requires flash at the time of this posting (rumor is you can force flash if you violate your TOS and warranty and "ROOT" your phone). Aside from the processor and the tiny internal memory amount that is provided, this is overall a good phone esp for its price. Just wish it has a bit more powerful...

the phone has to many apps pre instaled on it,that can not be removed. It slows it down after you install your apps that you want on it.their is not enough memory in it.

I have been pleased with the Ally. The main complaints that I had (battery life and email issues) were solved with the Android 2.2 upgrade. The only other complaint is that the on board memory is inadequate. Not enough apps are written to be able to be stored on the SD card. I get error messages that the phone is low on storage space. The screen is sharp and easy to read. The camera takes decent if not great photos. I love the keyboard. I think that this phone has the best keyboard of any Android phone I have tried.

What a piece of junk!!!!!

I bought this phone 2 weeks ago and have had nothing but problems. within 2 days of owning it, it had erased all my contacts, my complete call log and the pictures I had in my gallery. It shuts down and restarts itself out of the blue. The screen freezes, the keyboard freezes and usually I have to take the battery out and reset it just to get it to work again. Less than a week in to owning it, I had to go as far as reprogramming the phone. I'm a truck driver and rely on my phone on a daily basis. I wouldn't wish this phone on my ex wife! Spend the few extra dollars and buy a quality phone.
Pros: small
