Extrodinary Television Experience

I recently purchased an LG lcd 47 inch television. The picture quality is beautiful. I am hard of hearing. However, the sound quality of this set is incredible! Even at low volume, I can hear it very well the speakers mounted as they are, is wonderful. When I first heard a telephone ringing on a program, I was searching all over the room for my phone! The color is beautiful and has many picture adjustments available to get exactly the brightness, contrast, and color quality you want. I am extremely impressed.

great picture

had this tv only a few days but the picture on it is super compared to vizio the picture is much brighter and sharper it could use a few more hdmi ports

Have purchased several TV's that are LG. Great picture and quality. Thought the "smart sound" would lower commercials volume down to normal but it does not. Otherwise a great product.

Theatre in your Living room

I bought this TV to replace an outdated 31" TV. Oh My God! I have the theatre right in my living room. The picture and sound are fantastic. I bought an LG surround sound system to go with it, and WOW! The only Con is that I wish the remote had the various inputs on it. It's difficult and time consuming to scroll through the inputs. Other than that, it is fantastic, could not have found a better television.

Great T.V.

Researached many TV's before getting the LG... The picture quality is far better than almost any others I saw. Looked at a 47" with 120hz before purchasing this one, really cannot see ANY difference. The overall design is far more appealing than other TV's the same size, weighs less than most of the others also. Only has 2 HDMI inputs on it, just running HDMI through my A/V receiver to remedy that.

Its the picture ! ! !

My wife and I looke at TV's in a few different stores and decided on a size first, that being a 46" or 47". Without looking at brand names, our first analysis was the picture. In store comparisons eliminated the others one by one until the LG was the best we saw.
This model has the featue we want and will use. The LG reputation is good, the price was in the range we wanted to pay. Overall, we felt it was a good value and bought it.
Once setup and turrned on, we were taken back by the picture. It is outstanding. I'm so impressed, I'm even watching some of the commercials because the colors are so brilliant.
Sound quality is acceptable, but since I'm using a surround sound system, that was not a consideration. Overall, we are pleased with the set. To get even slightly better, you'd have to pay about 40% more.
Pros: Performance

Amazing Picture

I don't see how the picture could possibly be any better. You could get addicted to watching TV constantly. The only negative I'm aware of is that the sound probably could be better, although it seems only certain voices sound a little scratchy.

I recently purchased this model and I have to say it is simply awesome! The picture is sharp, clear and bright and makes gaming and movies a whole new experience! I'd recommend this LG to anyone!
