I bought this a couple of weeks ago and so far I'm pretty happy with it. My phone feels more secure and sturdy and I'm less afraid to keep it with me with my active lifestyle. I just wish there was a waterproof or water resistant case for my phone that was reasonable.

The case fits the Galaxy S5 perfectly. It gives the phone a solid feel with the non slip case. You can tell just by holding it that the protection will prevent the phone from breaking if it is dropped on a hard surface.

Almost Perfect

I have owned 2 Defender series cases for my Galaxy S5. The first one developed a crack in the corner (no drops) and the outer shell would bulge on the top of the phone due to a poor fit. Otterbox was quick to help and replaced the case quickly and the new one fit like a glove.
I have dropped my phone 2 times, with a short drop of maybe 4 feet to the floor each time. Perfect save, no damage to my phone. SCORE!
Now, what will the Otterbox NOT protect your phone from (or any case for that matter). A phone flying off the roof of your car as you make a turn at 35 mph. Ooops. It hit the pavement and when we realized what happened and tracked it down...the Otterbox was pristine but my poor phone screen was completely shattered. I can't fault Otterbox, because you shouldn't leave your phone on top of your car, but just know that it won't save your phone from everything, just the normal drops.
I would recommend this to a friend!
