I really like my new OtterBox cover.
When my husband upgraded his iPhone, I received his "hand-me-down" iPhone 5 with a very bulky (and boring) white OtterBox cover. Well, that just would not do! It's bad enough that I had to settle for a hand-me-down phone, but a hand-me-down cover as well!?!
I got online right away to order this beauty!
We were out to dinner the other evening, and the waitress even complimented my very cool phone case - my bright new OtterBox cover. Feels good to be "cool"!

I purchased this case hoping for a sleek yet protective case for my iPhone. I wanted to not be burdened by the heft of this case, as with some of the larger otter box case. What arrived was unfortunately quite bulbous and bulky, and unfortunately unlike what was pictured. It doesn't really look any smaller than the Commuter. Unless you go with a Defender case, we all accept some form of risk with our phones. In normal everyday use, with the occasional drops, I think a slim-fitting case with a moderate degree of protection should work. I think Otter box really need to trim this case down and try to achieve SOME of their legendary protection in a smaller form factor.

My husband bought me this case for Christmas 2014. I've had it on my phone since then. I was very pleased after a few drops and no cracked screen, however today I'm very disappointed. My phone fell off the arm of my chair and I now have a completely shattered screen! Don't count on this case to truly protect your phone.

The case failed! Phone dropped 4 days after getting case and the entire front screen cracked all the way down the middle. Not a protective case!
