I purchased the red/black Symmetry case for my iphone 5 after the Reflex case I had ripped on the bottom, near the headphone jack. The new case is definitely an upgrade in terms of design. I really like the two material, hard/soft construction. The bottom part where the Reflex case failed also seems to be an improvement but time will tell. The fit is very snug and secure. The openings are right on the money. A standard Lightning cable and straight headphone plug had no trouble fitting in but I can see that some docks and angled phone jacks would be an issue. Overall I am happy with the case but I do have two complaints. It would be nice if the case came with a screen protector. Two the tone of the red in the case I received does not match what is pictured on the web site. The red advertised is a darker red while the one I received was lighter, somewhat pinkish. Still OK but would've preferred the darker red.

Cons: color different than advertised

I was looking for a protective case that would make me feel like I was adequately protecting my iPhone investment, but I also wanted something that would look good and feel good in my hands. This case fits that description perfectly! Thankfully I haven't yet tested out its durability, but it seems as if it would be quite effective. Also, the ordering process & shipping were very timely.

I have had my Symmetry case for a month now. I like the thinness of the case. I have not dropped my phone but I think it would offer substantial protection. The only thing I would recommend is that the plastic part be more of a brushed or satin finish to provide a more grippy texture.

I have only used the Defender in the past. While it was protective, it made the phone bigger. I wanted a different case that wasn't so clunky. I paired the Symmetry case with a very thin glass screen protector. The case fit over top on the glass protector without any trouble. I am very pleased with this combo. It gave my phone a sleek appearance as well as the level of protection that I needed.

The case is excellent for protection but not even a week after I purchased it the entire back of the case is almost black. I bought the white one to match my phone but now I realized that was not a very good idea. Instead of having a professional look like what I was going for, I now have a filthy unprofessional look. The case is also a little slippery when holding it. They should incorporate a little bit of rubber on the sides to give it some grip.
Pros: High quality, easily slides in and out of pocket
Cons: Not durable, gets dirty very quick

I switched from the Defender Series to the new Symmetry Series when I bought my iPhone 5s. I was a little skeptical that it would perform as well, but I have been pleasantly surprised. My iPhone has already survived several bounces on tile flooring, and I am very happy with the slimmer case which is much easier to get in and out of my pocket.

I love this case! It snapped on quickly and easily. It has a great feel - not so slippery that it might slip out of my hand but smooth enough to easily slide into the phone pocket in my purse. While the color and floral design are very pretty the case feels very solid and sturdy.
