I've been using Otter boxes for my Iphones and Ipads since my first - Iphone 3G. I've never had a problem as Otterbox have had designs which suited my needs. The pattern, colors, and and protective structure of this case are top rate and I love them. What is disappointing though is that the access to the lightning pin port is too small to allow it to fit on a dock. I haven't yet found a dock that I can use with the case. Apart from this one thing - exceptional work Otterbox!!!

Cons: power pin slot too small to fit docks

I've been using my new Symmetry iPhone 5/5s cover for a few weeks now. I love the graphic print design of the cover, but I do think that it needs more grip along the side of the cover as its quite slippery and when using the phone with one hand. Overall happy with my purchase but a minor improvement to the cover may be worth considering for the future designs.

This case is rather slick, which I thought was bad. However, the employees that actually use them love the fact that is slides in and out of their pocket easily. Apparently that is a very popular feature. I don't like it, but the users love it, so high marks.

Understand, these are not scientific conclusions as I have no insturments to measure this but just "hands on" use over a couple of weeks.
The case has grainy surface for good gripping but its a plastic surface that doesnt turn your pocket inside out when the device is pulled out. There is a raised softer rubber rim about the screen to protect the screen surface, but get a screen protector as the protection it offers is minimal. The combination together provides an adequate level of protection to most any device in an urban environment. If your going to humid (like jungle etc) environment, or dusty (beach or desert) environment you will need a case that covers all the port openings (speaker, charging plug, etc) as this protector will not do as well in this environment.
I would recomend this product to anyone using an electronic device inthis type of environment.
