Great product

I own the pink camo for my iphone5 and its worth the money. I dropped my phone multiple times and i never had any problem with it. The holster monitor is the only problem I've had on this phone.
5 stars all the way

The case provides good protection as normal. But I feel like it could be better. just the screen not having a cover for the id sensor so you don't get dust in their or the screen. The camera should also have a lens over it because my Uncle looked at his phone a few weeks ago and seen that he had bumped into something at work and shattered his lens on the phone. I also feel that the case its self is a little to thick. I have many cases that are protective. They all hold up the same and many are thin and I have no problem with them. So I feel the case is good over all for heavy duty work like I do and a lot of my family does. But the look and feel is just to uhhhhh.
Pros: Durable, all ways on my hip
Cons: Low quality, not fully covered, bulky

I bought the original case for the iPhone 5 and the circle button on the front bottom was covered and used with a rubberized protector. I used my warranty to get a new one and they sent me the universal one (I think) for the iPhone 5/5s, and this one is not as good. First off the center button is now exposed (for use with the 5s fingerprint thing) thus dust gest under the screen protector (making it a joke now) all the time. All that trapped dirt can scratch your screen but I have a protector on my actual screen to avoid this. Secondly, this new universal box dose not fit as tight as the original one with the enclosed bottom portion. What this does is makes the user have to push a little harder on the bottom half of the screen. You can also feel it moving (poping) up and down - really annoying when texting. While this case does its overall job of protecting the phone, the original case was much better and should still be an option to those who have the original iPhone 5.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: does not protect screen as well

I have had several of these cases, and I like Otterbox cases, they protect your phone in case it is dropped. Issues I have had with these cases are, the case has a black pad in the back that heated up from the phone, got sticky, and left a smudge on my phone. They have left an imprint of the case around the screen of my phone that does not come off. Also, dust/dirt gets under the case and it has to be removed and cleaned which causes the rubber to become stretched out and not fit properly.
Pros: protects against drops.
Cons: Not durable, can leave marks on phones.

I have used otter box defender since my first iphone 4s.My brother was with me and insisted as soon as I get my phone to immediately put it in the otter box.The best choice ever I treat my phones with kid gloves but you still have accidents.My iphone doesn't have a scratch still looks brand new and boy have I dropped it.So when I upgraded to the 5s I touched my new phone long enough to put it in a otterbox.People laugh at me cause I own several colors I like to change the color but they have broken their iphones now and I still have mine.I don't care what phone I buy it will always be protected by an otterbox.Besides who do you want to protect your phone and all smart phones are exspensive now.And otterbox stands by their warrenty they will replace it and I have never had any trouble.Thank you otterbox for the best protection you can buy.
Pros: High quality, Durable, best protection, looks awesome, keep the value of your phone up

Excellent protection and great designs

Otterbox is a product that I recommend to anyone looking for good protection for their phone. I purchased an iPhone 5s in September and I felt as if I needed some good quality protection. so, I asked my friend about any cases and he recommended Otterbox. My purchase paid off when my phone fell out of the window of my car when I was pulling out of my driveway. I picked up my phone and the rubber just had a little scuff that I just cleaned off. Overall, I do recommend the Otterbox Defender.

Exceeding expectation

In Alabama, snow in the winter is scarce. When we get it everyone goes ballistic. This past January we got to enjoy around a foot of snow and while playing with the children my phone fell out. We searched for a good 2 hours that night and all of the next day with no luck. The temp was in the teens so the phone shut off from been too cold. The snow began to melt and a bright orange Otterbox appeared. I assumed the worst that the phone wouldn't work. Much to my surprise, it powered right on with no issues. I took it apart and left it all to warm up and dry off. Still going strong today!

Saved me a good few times

I can't tell you how many times I or my kids have dropped my iPhone. Or the cops phone me in a rural town 20 miles away to say someone picked up my phone on a road somewhere (I left it on the car roof and it went for a ride). Countless stories. My phone never packs up or gives me trouble. It is the best case out there. Only thing that will upset your phone is water or scratchy sand. I won't have an iPhone without a Defender.
