Failing after 8 months

Microwave inexplicably overheats and shuts down completely .
Never had an experience like this in a microwave.
Slower to cook than others I have had to.
I would not buy again
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

900 watt microwave does a good job!

I bought this microwave for the size needed to fit in the allotted space I had. The size I needed only came in 900 watts or less. I'm getting used to the wattage and like a lot of the settings. The part of the microwave you push to open the door is frustrating at times because if you don't push it just the designated space, it doesn't open.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does what we ask of it

900 watts seems to be powerful enough. I thought I wasn't going to get along with door opener but I've adjusted although I did have to place a bumper behind the back feet to keep the unit from moving when opening the door. We don't cook big-time in a microwave so I'll limit this review to popcorn, oatmeal, potatoes, and all the leftovers I eat for lunch. This does an excellent job at all those, and has put Frigidaire on my appliance short list for upcoming kitchen remodel.

Good deal for the price - watch measurements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a higher power microwave to fit into a tight space, and found this one. Higher watts and nicer looking than all others s. Good microwave. Only issue was measurements.... product has little rubber legs that can't be removed but they are not gig red into the height.... we had to do somserious adjustments

Classy and Intuitive Controls

This has been working great for us. I love that you don't need to press a Time Cook button: you just start typing a number. Alternatively you can just press 1-6 and it will do that many minutes.
Note that the door is highly reflective and tinted, so you can hardly see what's going on while cooking. Also, the depth is incorrect; pushed against a back wall it's closer to 14.75" deep.

Good handle, size and features - microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave is great and a perfect size for my space. It's quiet and I don't have a problem with prints on the s/steel - obviously s/steel does that. I considered a handle opening microwave but when you pull the handle, the microwave jumps forward. The push in option works much better. Some reviews said arthritic hands can't open it very well. It opens easily, but you need to push in the center (the push in has an indentation to press - just do that; there's no issue). I would like to see more light inside for the heating item, but experience tells you how much time you need to select.

Window

Bought yesterday and have used three times. Works fine for cooking frozen entree's. The problem is that the window is so dark that you cannot see the food that is cooking. The oven light is fine when you open the door but the black design on the window makes it impossible to see the food clearly. Read the manual several times to see if there was an instruction to remove the design but found nothing. Not sure I could remove it if I tried.
