I really like the bottom freezer with 2nd ice maker. The one thing about the design that would be better is if the deli drawer did not require that you open both doors.

Love the Lighting

The LED lighting is nice and bright, so much better than the old style lightbulbs in my old refrigerator which got in the way. The water dispenser is a big hit, too. Especially the auto feature. Such a big refrigerator, MEASURE your doorways before you buy! It was a great challenge to get this mammoth into the kitchen.

Great looking Refrigerator, but poor shelf design

This is a great looking fridge, with duel icemakers which I really like. Unfortunately, the shelf design is too restrictive. I am unable to adjust the shelves to allow a gallon of milk to actually sit on a shelf. I am forced to shrink the front shelf in half in order to place Orange juice or milk cartons on a shelf. It seems GE is more interested in having you story your milk in the door shelf.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dual Evaporators Really make a Difference

Had this unit about three months, refrigerated vegetables really do last longer. Ice stays fresher. Would give it a 5 star if the ice maker didn't spill ice out side the cup. I use a wide styrofoam cup and form it to the crushed ice dispenser then I dump that into my cup. The volume of ice produced is amazing, especially if you empty the bin daily. Filtered water tastes great. The inside led lights light it up like daylight; the dispenser light also works great as a kitchen night light.
Watch the dimensions though, the water dispenser makes it larger than it would otherwise appear, had trouble coming through the door. GE service came out to replace a door damaged during delivery; fast friendly and hassle free.
Lovin this new appliance.

After getting use to the French door concept I really do enjoy my new refrigerator. I love having to ice cube areas. It is a beautiful addition to my kitchen.

Great Features

We have had the refrigerator about two months. We like the french doors better than I thought we would. Due to physical depth of case, even with doors and drawer removed, we had to have the door and door jamb to the kitchen taken out to get the refrigerator into the kitchen. We like the express modes; the double ice makers; the precise fill water dispenser; the great lighting and the greater capacity of the refrigerator section. The only negatives we have noticed are the greater noise levels that occur during different run cycles.

Beautiful fridge

We bought this fridge to match the other ge profile appliances in our new house. The one gripe I have is that you have to open both doors to open the lower drawer.
