Beautiful but Noisy

Love the look. Not so sure how I feel about the bottom freezer. I am not convinced I like it better than my old side freezes yet lol. But I definitely like the extra space of the open top and the only way to get it is with the bottom freezer. The water/ice features on this model are great. It does tend to drip a bit after using it for crushed ice. It bothered me at first but you learn to deal with it.
*If I had to say one thing I hate about this Refrigerator: it would have to be the NOISE... it is extremely noisy, (compared to any of my older Refrigerators). The first couple of days it took some getting use to, but before long you learn to zone it out. But yes, it is NOISY!

Read in the Manual, that came with it, that this noise is "normal" with the newer Refrigerators.

NOISE

After only 1 day of installation we called for service. As many other users we noticed the "buzz" noise coming from the refrigerator all the time. We decided to change all our appliances and have chosen GE because of our previous experience but sadly new model seems to be worst. I wish I have read the comments on the internet before my purchase. We are waiting for service next week.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Even Better Tahn We Expected

We have two of these refrigerators - one in our FL home and a new one in our PA home. Both are great. We bought the 2nd one because we loved the 1st one. We've had other brands, but none last as long nor give as good service as GE. I think they cost more than cheapie brands, but they're worth it for lack of trouble.
