It more than meets our needs.

Nice fridge, but broke in 1st 3 mos.!

My wife and I bought this because it was a good deal. While it is a nice fridge with all the bells and whistles, we much preferred our old Kenmore Elite in the same price range. The cooling fan broke on this model within the first three months on a Saturday and GE didn't get a technician out until Tuesday of the following week in an epic failure concerning customer service. It's also pretty loud and the freezer drawer doesn't slide out automatically (nit picky I know, just saying though). If the service was better I probably wouldn't mind the purchase but as it has turned out, I'll probably never buy GE again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the Water/Ice Dispenser Features

We have had our GE Profile for a little over a week. We absolutely love the features and the beauty of it. The tray that comes out on the water/ice dispenser makes it easy to fill pitchers, tall glasses or water bottles. The fact that you can set the precise fill and walk away is a terrific feature. It is roomy and easy to find things in. The lighting is something we had never thought much about until getting this model and we love the lighting. We researched several brand's features, ratings and reviews before we settled on this one and we are extremely satisfied with our choice.

Extremely roomy and versatile

This is the first time I have owned a French door frig with a lower freezer. At first I was hesitant but decided to give it a go. My reasoning was I have to bend down to get to the lower shelves of my side by side, so how different can it be? I made the right decision. The difference was enormous. With a side by side freezer, the shelves are narrow limiting you to the size of the item you want to freeze. With the lower freezer you have so much more versatility. There is room for a huge turkey or Avery large ice cream cake. The upper narrow drawer put most used items at your fingertips.
My only negative on this frig is the Temp control Drawer. It does not pull out far enough. Only half the items being stored are visible.

We bought the profile series set, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and the refrigerator was our all time favorite. It's roomy, auto water dispenser, door alarm, picture slide show... are great features! Our family love it!

Love the size and look

This refrig fits into a space where a counter size refrig used to be. It does not look out of place as the way it is made it fits flush against the back wall. The sides do not stick out a lot due to the way they are designed. The overall depth counts the handles. So much room inside. The drawers can be set individually. The dual ice makers are wonderful. The ice maker does make a lot of noise though. The handles are hard to keep looking nice. The old material used for handles was better.

Temp zone drawer

Would be great if the drawer was divided as the climate drawer is. This way drawer can be opened without opening both doors. Everything else I'm completely satisfied with.
