Not sure if there normally noisy but the one we got is a little noisy.

After a unit with a bad compressor was originally installed and an entire refridg/freezer worth of food thrown out, we finally got a GOOD unit and love it.
Easy to see what's in it. Two ice makers. Turbo cool option great. Quiet unit. Nice desgn.

This is exactly the model that I wanted. I wanted to move from a side by side to the french doors with the freezer on the bottom. I also love that pictures can be uploaded instead of stuck all over the front of the surface! My singular complaint with this fridge is that while they planned for "tall items" with the half-shelf...I just wish maybe the design was a bit different inside to make more room for items like 2-liters, orange juice bottles and right now watermelon! We'll make it work though...we'll just have to adjust the shelves around. Overall, very pleased with this beautiful addition to our remodel.

We use everything from the Autofill for water, both ice makers when we have guests, to the adjustable shelves. The lighting is AMAZING! You can't go wrong with this fridge.
