Great fridge pnly wished in came in Slate Color

We've only had our new fridge for 2 weeks and we love it; we had almost purchased a different model because this one didn't come in the slate color that we really wanted. However after realizing that we would be giving up a lot of other features we needed more we decided to go for the stainless version. It is beautiful, fits great and so far, it's just fantastic, although it's only been 2 weeks. i'll let you know in 2 years 7 hopefully we will still feel the same!!!

Bigger interior space and freezer on the bottom

I bought this new model to replace a 10 years old GE profile that started to fail so often. This model has much better design and I'm happy so far.

I MAY LOSE MY HEARING

i bought this refrig a month ago-- it is great -- if you are deaf !!. this is my third GE refrig and never had a noise problem before-- but then they tried for quality and consumer satisfaction before profit in the past. The noise problem from the consdenser and circulation fans runs between 60 and 70 DB-- approx. equal to freeway traffic noise.
instead of fixing this during manufacturing ( since this has been known for at east the past year or 2) they just wait for complaints and then try to correct with a noise reduction kit. THAT IS NO WAY TO RUN A COMPANY !!
I don't know if the fix will work since the parts are on backorder -- and their service support staff don't even notify you when they just cancel and or change the dates of an appointment.
I have another 2 weeks to have to live with the noise until I find out if this is a fix.
if not I am going to ask them to take this XXX refrig back !!

I love this refrigerator. I like its cool looks and also the Auto Fill capability. Works like a charm so far I have got no problems with this. Enough space to store for the entire family. Love it !!!
