We've had multiple issues with the water/ ice dispenser. 2 Speer are visits from technicians. 3 hours on the phone with customer support.

Frig is less than 2 years old. The water dispenser has stopped working. The ice macchine doesn’t work anymore. The chill drawer freeze everything that we put in it even with the frig in the warmest setting. Very unimpressed

Worked for a couple years then stopped cooling. Service repair changed out a couple fans but only worked another year then stopped cooling again.

GE French Door Refrigerator

This refrigerator looks great but always a problem. Ice maker is not adequate for family. Fridge freezes bottom drawers but refrigerator is not cooling. We have tried repair company to work on problem but not fixed yet. Cost lot of money but not a worthy appliance. I would not buy another French door refrigerator.

In 4 years the coffee maker broke a s fridge stopped cooling. For the price this fridge should have worked for a decade.

This refrigerator was purchased at the same time we built our house in 2015. The unit worked well for the first few years and then the motor would occasionally make loud noises and certain areas of the refrigerator would be so cold it would freeze items on the top shelf or in the meat drawer. We had an appliance repairman stop by to work on our dishwasher and he heard the noise coming from the refrigerator. He suggested it would be less expensive and simpler to just buy a new refrigerator. Additionally, our builder used this GE refrigerator in most of the subdivision we live in and the nightmare stories they shared trying to fix the unit supported his opinion. We are now in the market for a new refrigerator.
