NOISY!

Purchased in 2016. I would not recommend this refrigerator. The top doors don't match at the upper/lower seams, which is by design I was told by the installer. I noticed it on the store model prior to purchasing but was told it was probably the way the floor display was assembled. The installer did try to get the seams to match but was unable. The right door is heavy and needs to be pushed harder in order to close completely. The ice in the door dispenser gets jammed frequently and needs to be removed before the dispenser will drop more ice cubes. But the most irritating issue I have with this appliance is the motor noise! GE replaced it within the 1st month and the new one is just as loud. I've had guests ask me "What's that noise?" when it starts running. I remodeled my kitchen and purchased all GE Profile appliances and I am happy with all EXCEPT the refrigerator. I purchased it because it matched the other appliances and I didn't want a side by side frig. It came with all the features I wanted plus a lot of extras i.e. LED lights and extra technology that I really didn't care about but added to the purchase price. Now that I've had it more than 6 months and hindsight being 20/20 I think I'd get something less expensive with less features which hopefully would equate to less problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good looking but Slow to Make Ice

Overall, I really like this refrigerator. All the controls are easy to use, the shelves on the doors are very convenient and the space utilization is very good. The only thing that is a disappointment is how long it takes to make ice and the small container. It can run out very quickly when we have company.

I love the precision and autofill feature. Autofill doesn't always work on some containers- but the precision fill helps make up for it. I also love the pictures on the front display because the fridge surface isn't magnetic!

Bad circuit board

We have had this refrigerator about 6 months and we have had the circuit board replaced once and likely needs to be replaced again as we are having the same issue, no sounds or alarms and ice dispenser not working properly. I am glad we purchased the extended warranty. Besides that we love the size and the amount of room is amazing.

I purchased this model because I'm future planning for holiday cooking and the abilitity to store wide or long pans as needed. My family call my fridge the 'Robot' as I've never owned a product this big, but it does the trick for everyday food storage and the display interior lights AR fascinating. Great product and features.
