Couldn't be more pleased!

I bought this about 5 months ago and have been so pleased. it replaced a 15 year old GE Profile and I couldn't believe how every feature is so well thought out. My husband that usually could care less about a kitchen appliance has commented many times how impressed he is. Thanks for a great product!

I have now had this refrigerator for 6 months and have absolutely no complaints with it's performance for both the refrigeration and freezer compartments. Pros: Large capacity; adjustable no-spill shelves, one with a slide in/out-great for tall items; vegetable, fruit and deli drawers are very spacious; the bottom freezer REALLY holds a lot (I was pleasantly surprised!) Vegetables, fruit, and milk stay fresher longer, another wonderful surprise. Love the water and ice in the door along with the tray of ice in the freezer. I would have given 5 stars but for 2 reasons. 1. The freezer ice cube tray takes about a week to fill, so if you're having a gathering, you need to start making ice early. The door ice maker is not large but produces an adequate amount of ice if you don't use a lot. 2. My fridge is very noisy, especially when the compression comes on, sounding like a jet engine starting up. This lasts from 1-4 minutes. This doesn't happen with every start up, but, as time goes on, it is becoming more frequent and more annoying. Then as it goes through the cycles it produces other strange ongoing noises. I purchased this model based on 2 recommendations of friends who say this model is "really quiet." Not mine. However, I would recommend it along with an extended warranty.

Great product!

This fridge replaces a Whirlpool top of line model that died less than 3yrs from initial purchase. After tons of research I went with this top of the line model. I love the features of this fridge; auto fill, pull out shelf on exterior to auto-fill pitchers, dual ice-makers, LED lighting throughout the interior. Plenty of room to fit everything after grocery shopping.

Like the features, a few design flaws

Overall, I am happy with this and it's functionality. A couple of things that I don't like: to open the "deli" drawer, you have to open both french doors. It should have be split, like the fruit/veggie drawers. I cannot fit many of my large liquids either, due to lack of shelf adjustability

Shelving is not tall enough.

Shelving (not door) is not tall enough to allow milk containers, tall juice bottles, wine or ice tea jars. Even with shelves adjusted to max, they are still too short by about an inch. Door shelves do not provide enough space for the many drinks that the average home requires.
The auto fill water is wonderful... when it works. It will often sense the container is full when it really only has about 1 oz of water. When it works properly, it is a great time saver! Yes, the container is in the proper position for filling!

The film protection that comes on the refrigerator is next to impossible to completely remove. After mine was delivered the two men spent some time trying to remove the blue protection, but there is a small strip around every seam that will not come out without harming the surface.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this to replace a 32 cu ft LG that failed prematurely and LG couldn't/wouldn't stand behind it.
Our research showed that GE has an excellent repair network and parts availability.
The SS on this fridge is easy to keep clean and always looks very nice.
This fridge is the most vocal we've ever owned in that it seems to be making one of its MANY different sounds about half of the time. We've never had a fridge that had so many mechanical sounds. It's not terribly loud, just noticeable in its wide vocabulary.
The right-hand drawer has a quirk that's built-in.
