I have always loved otterboxes and they have always protected my phones amazing. I am a little disappointed however that almost a year-ish later Otterbox still has not produced very many options for the iPhone 6 Plus. I have a plus and would LOVE to be able to buy a camo case for it or even my football team however we are still (almost a year later) lacking in options for different defender cases for the 6 plus. Quit slacking Otterbox and give us some variety!

Defender Series case lets me use my iPhone 6 worry-free. I had a defender case with my previous iPhone and it kept my phone in mint condition regardless of numerous dropping incidents. The case is made of high quality materials that are durable to physical impact and harsh weather. It is also esthetically nice. That said, I am disappointed with the rigidity of the parts that cover buttons. For example, the volume control parts are so rigid, I have to press down really hard to get any response. The cover for the charger opening is also rigid that I have to struggle lifting it to plug in the charger.

Cons: poor design

I have been an Otterbox user for several phones, and have been generally happy with the cases. But the iPhone 6 Defender case is just "okay". Overall, I think the case provides great protection and nice to see that it's a little slimmer than previous cases. Also, I think the materials are higher quality on this one. But two issues that could definitely use improvement: the flimsy cover over the iPhone home button keeps bubbling up and makes it difficult to use the fingerprint reader; and the clear screen cover isn't close enough to the phone causing me to have to push harder than I should on my screen. All-in-all, it's just okay.
Pros: Durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my first Otterbox purchase, to be fair it's the only phone protection product that I have ever purchased. I did some research before getting my case and decided to go with Otterbox verses the other highly rated cases. The case is beautiful, I love the color-way and design. I wish this particular case was also waterproof as that is a feature not included in this line. (Bummer!) In addition the home button area at the bottom of the case, despite having what appears to be two layers of plastic has developed a bubble fold in it rather than being smooth, that flaw is sort of a disappointment since I've only had the case less than two moths. Overall I would say the product is good and I would recommend it to others. Thanks!

Seems like the case will protect the phone, which is the main concern, but not as pleased with the surround/sleeve as it does not fit that great in areas around the hard-shell case. Also, the sensitivity of the screen cover is not as good as previous models...seems as though there may be a void or air pocket in the center that is contributing to this. This is even after I received a replacement case under warranty. The volume buttons are easier to use on the replacement and not as stiff/hard to use. Maybe they'll be better now that the phone has been out for a little while and can utilize further testing.

Overall the 6 Defnder is working well. I do however find that you need to push down more on the screen edges for the phone to pick up you touch.

Cons: hoster is not as tough as the defender i had for 4

overall this is an awesome case, i feel it will protect my phone from what ever life will throw at me but the touch ID is touch an go, and the buttons are kinda hard to push but still a great case, screen protector doesn't diminish the retina display at all which is nice :)

Cons: touch id, buttons are stiff
