I need something to protect my phone, iPhone-6, which I love, which holds the details of my life. I hike, do dangerous things like ride and train horses in back country, lots of dust, dirt, impacts. So the Defender was the best thing I could find. It arrived fast, it wasn't the color as on the website, close, but not really, but ok. It was relatively easy to put on the phone, no problem.
If they could figure out how to keep it slim, but waterproof, a membrane over the mic and speaker for instance, and water tight seals... you'd think it would have that given the name.. but another time I guess. It's up to me to make sure as it's falling that it doesn't land in the brook. Or better that it never falls. Other than that I love it.

I purchased an iPhone 6s (my first iPhone) and I wanted a really good case for it. I chose Otterbox after reading great reviews. Even though it is more expensive than some, I didn't want to skimp on protection. I am definitely not disappointed. It keeps my phone protected and secure but not too bulky. It is worth what I paid.
