Bought the Otter Box Defender for my Apple 6s about 3 weeks ago. The purchase and delivery was very simple and efficient. I am a Wildlands Firefighter and need to have my cell phone with me in the field. Protection is an absolute must. The Otter does everything it claims to do in regards to protect the phone in falls. For that I am thrilled.
The negatives are it’s clumsiness with charging. Apple uses their exclusive charging cables that are clumsy to fit into the charging slot with the phone in the case. That said, the phone gets charged.
Second, for whatever reason, the case affects how you are able to text with my phone. Perhaps the case doesn’t fit as snug and causes the texting to be less sensitive. Just need to double check before submitting.
Would I buy another Otter Defender?
Absolutely.

This case is very difficult to install, remove, and use keyboard. There are no instructions as the youtube video link goes to a blank video. I had to reach out to Customer Service to confirm. Once installed, it is very diffucult to remove. In addition, due to the screen protector, you can't use the sides of your keyboard. It constantly switches to the emoji keyboard when I'm trying to get the numbers keyboard. I can't go back because the buttons don't feel the press so I have to exit the message and come back for it to refresh its self. It is ridiculous.

when we bought the case, states protects against accidental drops. iPhone fell a foot and a half, screen shattered

I've bought these cases ever since I got my first iPhone. Last night I got my new iPhone6 and put it in its new Otterbox Commuter case. It fits as snugly as ever. I am looking forward to the same great protection I've had on previous phones for this one. I am not getting the loose fit I've read in other reviews. It's a shame it does not come in more colors. I would have liked the combination I had before, but had to settle for the Admiral Blue on Gunmetal Grey. Seems like all the cool colors were reserved for the more expensive Defender series case! Come on Otterbox!

I had to open and close the wallet part for about an hour to "break" it in, and then after several days of use it opens much better. Much easier to carry my license, credit and debit card card with my phone then an entire pocketbook.

I'm not sure why the other reviews say the case does not fit properly. I'm happy with the fit of the case on the iPhone 6. I feel the case would protect my phone from any damage due to drops. I'm happy with Otter box.

The case is nice...I don't see the problems I read in other reviews....mine fit very well...the teal color was good..I can see the little it's off by head phone jack..but really?...your gonna critize that? It's not loose fitting at all...phone does not rattle inside the case...I would like to know what the secret is to opening the card slot...this seems a little tricky...suggestions please on this issue....otter box please...all in all good case protects a costly investment...bravo!

Great iphone Cover

Bought this shell along with the slipcover. They had great coordinating colors available. While it provides great protection for my phone, it is not bulky and fits in most of my pants pockets.
