...and twice as bulky. If you can live with your iPhone 6s bulking up to the size of a Sherman tank, you might like this case.
This is my sixth or seventh Otterbox case, through three generations of iPhone (4s through 6s). While there are things to like about it, some aspects of it -- the incredibly deep recess of the screen; and the rubber that will wear out from the inordinate number of times you have to take it apart to get the dust out that somehow got underneath the screen protector, for two -- make it difficult to recommend this case.
The only reason I haven't returned it is because every other case I've tried is worse. It's OK -- flaws and all.

Every time we upgrade our phones, we purchase an Otter Box case because they are the best. We use the belt clip and can't find another case that has that feature along with the durability of the Otter Box case. The warranty also can't be beat. Whenever we have a problem, Otter Box replaces the broken piece immediately.
I have used the Defender for IPhone 6 for the last year and a half. I would think with the price it should last more than a year and half but the rubberized part became stretched out for some reason and I had to buy a new case.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Although the outer slipcover of the OtterBox Defender is designed to hold its shape over the long haul, the synthetic silicone can at times become at bit stretched out depending on the number of times it needs to removed and reinstalled. The case has protected my phone so well and I wouldn't buy any other brand. I like that I can switch colors easily and they last a long time! Best protective case on the market.
I don't like the bulkiness or how hard it is to type with the gap between the screen and the built in screen protector. I have RA and this case has made my phone use more painful.

The gap between the screen protector and the iPhone screen is not typical and we will be happy to send you another Defender through our warranty.
